I’m gonna say it — Eve wasn’t high maintenance, Jimmy was just low effort.

It made me kind of sad that Eve's character was played as comedic relief painted in the light of "obviously insane and super sensitive/emotional and nobody can actually stand her."

I've been there, I've been that person, and it really hurts to be told over and over (through words and actions) that you're not worth the effort to be loved properly. That nobody actually cares what you need, that your needs are worthless and stupid, that you're basically only good for a barrel of laughs at your own expense. I could easily see the darker side of things, that Eve was in an abusive relationship with Lex Luthor and willing to take any scrap someone would give her because it was better than hurting every single day.

In conclusion: Eve deserves a partner who will cherish her! Everyone does. I'd love to see a Jimmy Olsen redemption arc where he realizes that he actually did some fucked up shit to her, too, and where he tries to make amends and help her live a life worth living on her own terms, even if that doesn't include him in the end.

But maybe I'm a hopeless dreamer lmao
