This episode contains one of the few references to the not-often spoken out movie, like Buffy cheerleading in her former high school.

Whedon was one of the writers of toy story before he was approaching to the idea of turning buffy in a television series.

The episode is not called THE witch, but Witch, because it had to create a sort of pun with "which", from the "swap" between Amy and her mother.

When a person becomes a vampire, they get invaded by a demon. The restoration of Angel's soul didn't exorcise the demon in him. Angel confesses that he wanted to kill Buffy tonight, following the impulse of the demon in him.

Angel attempts suicide by cop. He poorly fights and he freezes when Buffy tries to hit him with the crossbow, and this is why Buffy doesn't kill him, she sees Angel's humanity.

Buffy will never have a normal life, Angel cannot live as a human nor as a vampire because of its curse. It's their mutual isolation that brings them together.

It’s been a week or so since I’ve got to see @jeffmakesjokes This guy is comedian and a great dad. Him and his young son make robots out of old, broken parts and tools he finds at antique stores when he’s on the comedy road. Awhile back he was at @stircrazycomedyclub in @westgateaz in Arizona.
