Desi-fied Adeline

The prettiest town leader ever

Yall I had an insane FoM dream last week I forgot about til now (farmer didn’t exist, Caldarus is still a ruined statue, and you-know-who is still at the bottom of the mines)

A meteor crashed in Mistria. Eiland, Errol, Olric, and March all started investigating it and were infected with a plague that ended up quickly spreading throughout the town.

Adeline and Ryis happened to be out of town for negotiations with the Capital’s royal carpentry guild and by the time they returned, half the town was already gone and the other half were dying. Adeline was beside herself trying to help those who were still alive and ended up finding out that she and Ryis were both somehow immune to the plague.

They initially believed that the virus died off after a certain amount of time, but when other medical professionals arrived at Adeline’s emergency request, they got infected and succumbed despite their extensive protective measures. One of the professionals happened to return to the Capital for resupplying… and infected the populace.

Months later, the continent was almost void of human life.

Adeline and Ryis, after much reluctance to leave Mistria behind, gathered supplies and set off to search for survivors. And possibly a cure. Though their unspoken outlook on the quest was incredibly grim.

And then I woke up

So, I’ve finally managed to express my idea of „what if characters from Mistria and Pelican Town interacted with each other?”. Execution is not half as good as the idea, but forgive me for it, I’m overcoming a hudge creativity paralysis.

I did, in fact, doodle some FOM! Hyacinths!!

He's much better at ranching than growing crops and he's definitely the sort to get each of his lambs a bonnet after they're born. (He planted a cherry tree in front his house at least. He'll figure out actually tilling and working the land next season,,,, probably)

FOM AU Idea: "Dragon Descended" AU

Basically, a No Ari!AU. No adventurer ever shows up to help Mistria. Maybe Adeline's request got lost, maybe it got "lost" because someone decided Mistria wasn't worth the Guild's time.

Either way, the town waits...and waits...until almost a whole year has passed with no reply.

Meanwhile, Eiland has fixed up Caldarus's statue, and since essence is now flowing in Mistria, Cal is able to passively absorb it even though no one is technically offering it.

Because of this, he wakes up enough to hear Eiland talking to his statue about how no one has answered their letters, how his sister is worried about the town, about how he's worried about the town, how people are losing hope, how March barely seems to be restraining his "I told you so".

And Caldarus decides "fuck it, if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself" and yeets himself out of the statue.

Problem is, he's only been passively absorbing essence, which means he has even less power than when he canonically takes mortal form. This means that when he's found, he's not only sick and malnourished, but he doesn't even have the few memories he has in the canon game, meaning he doesn't know his own name or that he's a dragon.

(Eiland suggests calling him "Caldarus" after the statue he was found by, so it works out)

Additional notes:

Mortal!Cal has horrible thermoregulation both due to being malnourished and due to being used to having the inner fire of a dragon

You better believe Josephine and Reina go Italian grandma mode on him after he wakes up from his coma

He starts out with very little energy, like probably half what Ari has at the start of the game

Because of this he barely leaves the farm for the first season or two and needs a lot of help from Celine and Hayden

He gets more energy as time goes on. Everyone thinks the farm work is giving him exercise and muscle but in reality it's because he's absorbing the essence from the soil as he digs

March is still suspicious of the newcomer because "as soon as he gets his memories back he's gonna go back to his previous life and abandon us" (lol, lmao even)

Just a new spiderverse AU of mine: Friend of Monsters AU!

▪Miles is a member of a monster hunter family, he doesn't like to hunt monsters bc he says "They mean no warm! You're just being rude to them!" but he has to honor his family by hunting monsters either way.

▪Gwen is a vampire, Dracula's grand-daughter to be more specific. She's the first monster Miles meets in this AU, he fell in love with her in the first place.

▪Hobie is a shapeshifter demon,they change his form constantly. It can shapeshift into people, other monsters and animals, doesn't have a limit about her powers, jokes people thru shapeshift.

▪Pavitr is a werewolf, he always sleepy even he has to be awake at full moon nights, sometimes she presents herself as feminine, but is rare to occour.

▪Margo is a enchantress/witch, they do magic and spells that normally goes wrong. REALLY clumsy in a atrocitous level,she have a crush on Peni.

▪Peni is a Harpy,a type of monster who are a mix of human and birds,a raven harpy in her case. They're really Agressive,some of Margo's spells can help him calm down for a moment, he tends to break everything who is around her.
