“…Hmm?” Yu murmured after a moment of silence, almost as if he didn’t really hear the boy speak. The older man seemed a bit lost in thought, and it took him a while to actually turn to look at the teen by his side, eyes crinkling in a faint, distant smile.
“Now, where did that come from…?” he asked, finally, head tilting gently to the side. “Tohru-kun, I’m fairly certain you’re far from that.”
"Nanako died earlier today for a bit." he said, quietly as if he felt guilty just thinking about it.
"I...I was so upset and angry, that I almost killed Namatame, thinking that he was the killer and that I couldn't forgive him... but... that isn't the case, is it?"
Trying to calm everyone down, saying that there was more to the case than they knew... was that really the right thing to do in the end?
"I...I almost killed someone... I'm just as bad as the killer, aren't I?"
