daily bill day 3(?)!

I neeeeed to ramble about how similar bill and my oc Ace are! I was reading a fanfic and it made me come to the realization of how similar they are! putting a cut here because this might be long and it will contain spoilers for the book of bill.

Bill came to hate his home dimension because he could see somthing they couldn’t. He was different then them and could understand so much more then them and they hated him for that. This lead to him destroying his dimension in a desperate attempt to try to show them what he saw. He still hates his home dimension but misses it deep down inside.

this is where it connects to my OC Ace because she was born with magic in a world where everyone thought magic was fake. She had the ability of future sight and could see visions of the future in her sleep but no one believed her. And as she grew up her magic got stronger and stronger and gathered within her because she didn’t know how to use it properly. She got headaches and half of her vision saw a few seconds into the future because of the unused magic leaking out.

when she tried to reach out to her parents and the few trusted figures in her life, she was called a liar because “magic wasn’t real and she was just making it up for attention.” This caused her to become distant from everyone because they could never understand her and didn’t believe her very real pain. She even started questioning if it was even real in the first place despite the very real pain and discomfort it brought her. That was until she met my friend’s oc wing and realized that magic was indeed real. They went through an adventure through the plot of super paper Mario (I was very hyper fixated at the time ok) and Ace learned how to properly use her magic. Post the adventure, Ace is more chaotic and impulsive, almost like Bill or shadow milk cookie from Crk. The only person she has a true connection with is wing and wing is the only person she really cares about.

both her and bill harbor a deep hatred for their home because it could never understand or believe what they are and what they know. This caused them to be more chaotic and distant from other people because they learned that no one will accept how different they are. They use a chaotic persona to avoid being themselves and making , in their eyes, meaningless connections that will only lead to them being misunderstood and called a liar.
