17년 11월 25일 [펙타 FeGTA :: 페미 게이머와 게임 개발자들과의 만남] [ FEMI-GAMERS Take Action – FeGTA :: Feminist Gamers and Developers MEET UP ]

17년 11월 25일 전디협이 기획한 페미니스트 게이머와 페미니스트 개발자의 만남, FeGTA 제 1회가 피스센터 메인홀에서 개최하였습니다.

펙타 개최에 영감을 받은 '긱걸콘'이 등장하는 영화 <방해말고 꺼져>를 관객들과 함께 시청하고, 페미니스트 게이머도 '덜 불편하게' 즐길 수 있는 게임을 소개하는 코너를 진행했습니다.

이후 토크콘서트 형식으로 관객과 개발자가 서로 질답을 주고받으며 게임업계의 현실과 나아가야할 방향성에 대해서 이야기를 나눴습니다.

페미니스트들간의 커뮤니티를 조성하여, 게임업계에서 우리들의 목소리를 키워나가게 되는 의미있는 발걸음이 되었다고 믿습니다.

On November 25th, 2017, Feminist Gamers and Developers MEET UP - FeGTA the First was held at Peace Center Main Hall.

At FeGTA audiences and For D.va watched the documentary "GTFO : Get the F&#% Out", which talks about 'GEEK GIRL CON' - the event that inspired For D.va to plan FeGTA. After watching, For D.va presented a PPT that shared information and the list of <'a little bit less - uncomfortable' games for FEMI-gamers to play.

Then audiences and Panels had Q&A time about Game Industry's reality and the way how should this industry turn out.

For D.va believe FeGTA has become meaningful footstep that voiced out feminists' opinions to Game Industry by gathering up feminists at the event.

17년 10월 8일 보라x뮤직페스티벌 Bora X Music Festival

여성이 만들고 여성이 즐기는 여자들의 축제, 보라x뮤직페스티벌에 참여했습니다.

'불편한 시선, 불쾌한 터치, 무례한 언행없는' 이라는 슬로건 아래 페미니스트 아티스트들의 무대를 보고, 전디협 굿즈를 오프라인 판매하며 페미니스트 여러분과 반가운 만남을 가졌습니다.

장애여부, 기혼여부, 성적지향, 채식여부 등과 상관없이 누구라도 편하게 즐길 수 있는 축제라는 느낌을 받았습니다.

For D.va participated in Bora X Music Festival - at Planned and Enjoyed all by Women.

Under the slogan 'No Peeping Tom, No Unpleasant Touch, No Foul Manners', For D.va enjoyed Feminist Artists' performances and sell For D.va Goods at the festival. We also had chance to say hello to other feminists.

Disabled or not, Married or not, Queer or not, Vegan or not - these barriers didn't stopped people from enjoying the festival.

17년 12월 2일 쫑파티 For D.va S3 Farewell party

3기를 마무리하는 쫑파티가 있었습니다.

각자 원하는 보드게임을 가져와, 페미니스트 게이머들끼리 플레이하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다.

On December 2nd, 2017, For D.va had a Season 3 Farewell party.

Memebers and staffs from For D.va brought so many kinds of boardgames to the party. Feminist -gamers enjoyed playing boardgames so much and had a wonderful time.

17년 10월 7일 페미 시네마 FEMI-CINEMA

지난 2017년 10월 7일 토요일에 페미니스트들이 함께 페미니즘 영화와 퀴어 영화를 시청하는 <페미시네마> 를 진행했습니다. 동명의 sf페미니즘 소설을 원작으로 한 '스탭포드 와이프'와, 실화를 바탕으로 한 다운증후군 소년과 동성애자 부부의 이야기를 담은 '초콜릿 도넛' (원제목 : 애니 데이 나우) 을 시청했습니다.

On October 7th, 2017, Feminists from For D.va gathered around and hosted <FEMI-CINEMA>. At this event, they watched two films about feminism and queer. The first one was 'Stepford wife', which originated from a SF novel of a same title. The other one was 'Any day now' (in kor. ver. named 'Chocolate doughnut'). 'Any day now' is based on true story about a gay couple family - a boy who has Down's syndrome and his ^fathers^.

17년 전국디바협회 3기 독서모임(3회 진행) For D.Va Season 3 BOOK club

지난 3기 기간동안 총 3회에 걸쳐 페미니즘,퀴어,동물권&채식 팀으로 나눠 독서모임을 진행했습니다.

During For D.Va Season 3, we had 3-sessioned Book club. The Book Club was divided in to three teams as we planned to learn about three different topics at the club - Feminism, Queer Rights, and Animal Rights&Vegan

1차 독서모임에서는 페미니즘팀과 동물권팀은 선정도서인 <페미니즘-주변에서 중심으로>, <동물을 먹는다는 것에 대하여>를 읽고, 퀴어팀은 <젠더>에 관련된 추천도서를 읽은 후 함께 고민하고 토론하는 시간을 가졌습니다.

At session 1, Feminism club read <Feminist Theory: From Margin to Center - Bell Hooks>, <Eating Animals - Jonathan Safran Foer> was read in Animal Rights&Vegan club, and Queer Rights club read few recommended books about <Gender>. After reading those books they had a time sharing their opinions and talk about the topics from books.

2차에서는 페미니즘팀과 동물권팀은 선정도서인 <양성평등에 반대한다>, <죽음의 밥상> 을 읽고, 퀴어팀은 <섹슈얼과 로맨틱>에 관련된 추천도서를 읽은 후 함께 고민하고 토론하는 시간을 가졌습니다.

At session 2, Feminism club read <I Object Equalism for ^Two^ sexes - Hee-jin Jung>, <The Ethics of what we eat - Jim Mason & Peter Singer> was read in Animal Rights&Vegan club, and Queer Rights club read few recommended books about <Sexual&Romantic>. After reading those books they had a time sharing their opinions and talk about the topics from books.

3차에서는 페미니즘팀은 선정도서인 <여성혐오를 혐오한다>를 읽고, 퀴어팀은 <아모리>에 관련된 추천도서를 읽은 후 함께 고민하고 토론하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 채식팀은 지난 커리큘럼을 통한 자신의 변화를 돌아보는 시간을 가졌습니다.

At session 3, Feminism club read <Onna Girai - Japan's Misogyny - Ueno Chizuko> and Queer Rights club read few recommended books about <Amory>. After reading those books they had a time sharing their opinions and talk about the topics from books. Animal Rights&Vegan club reviewed about thoughts or opinions before they had joined the club.

18년 1월 6일, 7일 보드게임나잇 BOARDGAME NIGHT

보드게임, PS4, 닌텐도 스위치 등 각자 원하는 게임을 가지고 와 밤새 함께 노는 보드게임 나잇이 있었습니다. 게이머 친구들이 함께 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다.

On Jan 6th and 7th For D.va members hosted BOARDGAME NIGHT - playing overnight with boardgames, nintendo switch, ps4 etc. Feminist gamers had really good time during those nights.
