It was a massacre. Body parts littered the valley, blood soaking the dirt, death polluting the air. Luke barely registered the carnage, using the Force to seek his elusive prey amidst the slaughter.

“Kardem,” he called, the blackness of her presence sudden, blatant. “No use hiding.”

The being formerly known as Dir’Nul shimmered into sight. “I’m not afraid of you, Jedi. Soon you’ll die,” she gestured towards the corpses, “like them.”
