I know very little about bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies, but a blogger I used to watch on YouTube is doing infomercials on how to buy the things.
They were worth almost nothing in the early days around 2009, but I have seen reports of one bitcoin now being worth $17,000.
I do not know if this is a bubble, but I do know that bubbles are about to burst when people in my circumstances start piling in. I will not be buying any bitcoins for the foreseeable future.
Mind you, with things changing as rapidly as they are, the distance I can see into the future is strictly limited.
