‘What makes you share such words with me? ‘ Honestly? She couldn’t tell him, she didn’t know. Maybe she saw loss hanging on his shoulders the way it hung on hers when she caught sight of her reflection. Or, more likely, it sat so heavy and uncomfortable in her stomach that it was bound to well up, like the sickness it imitated, eventually.
She smiled, a watery and forced expression that was certainly used to try and cover whatever feelings were threatening to drown her out. Humor was a refuge, right? “We also say you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone. Too bad both of them hold up, huh?” Rosie shrugged, and took a deep breath. She’d come this far, right? And it was all coming up again.
“Yeah...or -- well, it’s more like it was taken? I never got to know it.” She dreams of the great fire in the center of the world. Of her family together, not scattered over five states that weren’t their choice. Of her cousins she never got to meet; swallowed by a system that wanted to erase her too. “Sometimes, it’s like this scab that I keep knocking against the furniture and it keeps opening up. And then sometimes it feels like a hole where something should be, and I don’t know what it is, but I know I miss it.”
“It is beautiful in ways perhaps invisible to those who have seen it every day of their lives.”
Darcy watches the fading wisps of magenta-purple smoke, the way it trails away from him and his staunch blueness to float away into a darker sky, obscuring the unnatural dingy light of a lamppost before disintegrating into nothing.
“Bruh, I’ll say.”
It’s probably rude to keep craning her neck, to make a spectacle of this thing that is his (although, she tells herself, atleast she’s not staring at him-- the blue fur and pointed ears and forked tail), but she can’t stop.Like the lingering smoke of fireworks, she watches until there’s nothing left, her painted lips parted just slightly.
“I’ve seen a lot of dudes with a lot of abilities, but yours is the most aesthetic.”
“Uuh.. a time with pizzas... and ovens... I don't know things, I just eat things."
“Hang on, lemme contact Raz... well, he says Naples in the 18th century. Probably haven’t had one then, I wasn’t eating much at the time.”

The more that he dwelled on it, the more a need for an answer as to why the guy had even remotely got half the trust Buccellati had in him out of nowhere. After all, the kid just showed up one day to them, and now they were on a crazy train without any stopping after they started. There was no way that it wasn’t all due to some crazy shit the kid named Giorno started and somehow got Bruno into, no one else to blame.
Did not matter one bit if Giorno was charming beyond belief, smooth in word, approach, and actions showing all too much by Narancia’s observation. That was just the read on him so far, there was only so much that could be gathered after Trish was handed over to them for protection. Day waned, dragging out the shadows to make them larger than life and stain the floors in black, saying it was time to go for it, now or never. Suspicion would remain high, but for now, his distaste would be cast aside as Narancia walked over to sit down next to him without bothering to ask if it was okay. Asking would only remain to be a waste of time and a silly formality only reserved for people that earned it, and Giorno had yet to do so.
No time was wasted in getting himself comfortable, leg crossing over the other and grabbing the pillow to sit on his lap for his arms to rest on. Right elbow digging into the pillow while his chin rested into the palm of his hand as his dark gaze shifted over to Giorno, locking eyes as he readied to ask what was on his mind. “So tell me, Giorno, how’d you get a guy like Buccellati to take you on out of nowhere and trust you like that with the time it takes someone to snap their fingers.”
Did Giorno say some bullshit beyond the fantastical just to slide his way in, just for building a space full of lies that would come crashing down on everyone later?? Anything spouted just to get in good and use the guy for his own needs while holding nothing up on his end. Anger flared at the thought of his hero being used so wrongfully like that. “--- And don’t fake shit, I want to hear the truth --- I’ll know if you’re lying to me.” While he did not have much faith in his own genius and capabilities aligned with the level of intelligence one had, getting the feel of an individual and situation was one of the few things he trusted in himself. One of the few things Narancia could not be played for a fool over, one of the things the others trusted from him. He’d do anything to make sure that Bruno wasn’t dragged down into a mess just to be a pawn without recognition for worth and led to die.

Send "🤞" to gently trace my muse's jaw to slowly wake them up
Eyes flutter open after some long moments of gentle caressing, followed by a soft yawn. His eyes close once more as he shifts lightly, letting his head come to rest in his partner’s hands. He gives a soft whine, somewhat displeased to be awake, but glad it was such a gentle awakening.
“Hi..”
1 - 10 :)
1. What’s their full name? Why was that chosen? Does it mean anything?
Evangeline “Eva” Michelangeli. No particular reason for choosing it, other than the fact that she’s a Italian as can be.
2. Do they have any titles? How did they get them?
“Bitch”, might be one among criminals she’s helped to incarcerate. Her methods are pretty far from ordinary given the NYPD allowing her to use whatever form necessary to extract information.
3. Did they have a good childhood? What are fond memories they have of it? What’s a bad memory?
Can’t really say it was a bad one. She spent most of her time with her father, tomboy that she was. She’d watch him fix up some of his vehicles and bikes, and he’d taught her how to handle her first one, despite her mother’s reluctance. She ended up coming to terms with it… Her worst memory would probably be the first time she got into an accident on her bike, broke her leg, and ended up with a concussion.
4. What is their relationship with their parents? What’s a good and bad memory with them? Did they know both parents?
As Eva got older she realized there were many things she had been blind to when it came to her parents, but overall they were on good terms. A good memory would be Christmas in New York and a bad one would probably be when her father was almost killed in Italy. Her parents remain alive and maintain an active role in their daughter’s life.
5. Do they have any siblings? What’s their names? What is their relationship with them? Has their relationship changed since they were kids to adults?
One brother. Gino Michelangeli. He’s the best brother she could ever ask for, even in his frequent absences. They still bicker with each other to this day, getting into fist fights that always end in Eva winning because he’d rather not hurt her. And she knows damn well that’s the reason, even using it to her advantage.
6. What were they like at school? Did they enjoy it? Did they finish? What level of higher education did they reach? What subjects did they enjoy? Which did they hate?
Troublemaker and class clown were an understatement… so of course she enjoyed it. Got through high school and two years of college studying criminal justice. She enjoyed biology and english, but never math.
7. Did they have lots of friends as a child? Did they keep any of their childhood friends into adulthood?
She’s always been a loner, and Gino was basically her best friend since he was always there. She’s simply bad at keeping friendships going.
8. Did they have pets as a child? Do they have pets as an adult? Do they like animals?
No, which is why she has a Doberman named Zulu and a blue-grey cat named Turbo. She does like animals. For the most part.
9. Do animals like them? Do they get on well with animals?
Most do. From what she can gather since she’s never been attacked by one.
10. Do they like children? Do children like them? Do they have or want any children? What would they be like as a parent? Or as a godparent/babysitter/ect?
Babies are her favorite, but teens not so much… She does want kids, but not while she’s working for the Department. When she does have them, she’d like to be that parent who understands both sides of a story and can be fair when she needs to be. She by no means expects to be perfect, and of course, with her track record, knows she’ll fuck up. But babysitting is usually a piece of cake for her given her powers. B)
