What a beautiful day to celebrate Dan’s life, but it’s still hard to know what to say in the wake of such an unexpected tragedy. I often struggle with finding the right words and when to say them and who to say them to. But, when it affects your family directly, you are left utterly speechless. Dan was a great partner for my sister @krfickett and an amazing stepfather to my niece, Leah. Such a powerful influence in both their lives. They both love you so much and will miss you forever.
