His mother had told him everything. At first, he had looked at her in a drunken haze, trying to make sense of what she had said and if it was just the alcohol making him go slightly insane. He was standing at the door to the cell, briefly looking down the mouth of the bottle he held in his hand. With a shrug, he took a drink, draining half of it in one go.
Grunting, he shoved the door open with his shoulder. Disheveled, hair a mess, clothing spotted with stains and grime, he collapsed down in the chair across from her. He refused to say anything, refused to do anything but stare her in the eyes.
