in the tfp dratchet au how do the earth kids get along with Drift and vise versa? From what little we see it seems they got on pretty well. Though I do wonder if they're aware of Drifts full history or if thats something they have yet to be made aware of.

I think at first they just knew him as Ratchet's old friend. But after a while, I bet someone spilled the beans to them about who he used to be. (Probably Arcee tbh). After that, I can imagine the kids would be pretty wary of him for a little bit.

Miko would be the most outspoken and rude to him at first. But I think she would also be the first one to come around and like him again. Also helps that Wheeljack and Bulkhead vouch for the guy. Drift thinks shes great fun! If a little energetic and eager for trouble.

Raf would be polite, as he always is but feel rather anxious when Drift's around. Bumblebee probably hangs around more often during this time, giving Drift the stink eye over Raf's shoulder lmao. I think, as he spent more time with Drift and Ratchet, Raf would eventually feel more comfortable. Drift enjoys Raf's calm personality and intellect. He reminds him of Ratchet, but tiny.

The one to stay wary and distrustful the longest would definitely be Jack. Him and Arcee are two peas in a pod in that sense. I also think he still has this protective older brother streak about him and he would try to keep Raf away from Drift whenever he could. However, with Jack in Reno for school, he's not around as often as Raf so he doesn't really get to know Drift as well as Raf does. His protectiveness gets on Raf's nerves haha. (I mean, at this point, Raf is 18!) Drift has a lot of respect for Jack. Probably tries to teach him some meditation to help with the stress of college.

However, I don't think any of them know Drift's FULL full story. I think they were just told that he used to be a Decepticon but switched sides/left the Decepticons near the very end of the war. I highly doubt Ratchet told them about all the other stuff.

Lol guess one way it could happen is that Grimmy finds out about younger siblings and he really really wants a little sibling of his own and begs for it.

Maybe Wheeljack and Ratchet refuse at first only to both individually do research (the average "normal" family having 2.5 kids) or have a conversation with a neighbor or something and they both, completely independently of one another, decide to each create a new dinobot to be Grimmys younger siblings.

No idea which dinobots they'd be or how Wheeljack and Ratchet would excuse suddenly having two more kids but its the first thing that popped into my head XD

Pfft I'm imagining the stunticons version of a bachelor party would be... Interesting. I mean, they're aliens who are still new to the whole Earth thing. I wouldn't be surprised if they try to research bachelor party "traditions" to surprise Breakdown with and get them all wrong in some silly or ironic way.

Naturally it's a huge success.

(example; imagine them having something mundane rise out of something that looks like a cake and wolf whistling at it purely because they saw a video of people doing the same thing. They have no idea why this is a tradition or what it means but it seemed fun soooo.)

AWWW 😭😭😭😭😭😭 This sounds so cute!! It's like a cute little filler episode after all the stuff they all go through. An earned rest and a sense of normalcy for all of them where they plan something fun and new together... So so precious and lovely!

I can imagine them misunderstanding such concepts and still having fun with it, thinking they're doing things as intended. Now I'm thinking about Dorothy or Alex ((or any of the Maltos that have a much better understanding of human culture)) watching the Stunticons as they get things completely wrong. But Maltos don't try to correct them. They seem to be having fun, so let them be!

verse where knockout and breakdown have never met sentient earth life before and finally meet their first "human". They try to communicate with it in an attempt to get some information completely unaware that they are interrogating a cow.

LMAO- before landing on Earth, they see the Decepticon high command offering a reward for any intel on the Autobot's location. Knock Out obviously thinks he will claim said reward easily. He's charming after all, and incredibly intelligent and convincing (and if reason should fail them, Breakdown's fists are excellent motivators).

They immediately go for the first life form they find. While Knock Out has only met a few beastformers, he doesn't have any reason to think Earth would be lacking in them. Even if these Earthly ones are especially tight lipped and somehow very capable of acting as if he doesn't exist.

Knock Out also realizes a new problem that hadn't occurred to him. He wouldn't say their hostage was vicious by any means, but Breakdown seems quite convinced of its innocent nature and refuses to dole out a more aggressive interrogation. In his refusal, Breakdown did discover a motivation. The tiny red orbs of a nearby tree seem desirable to their hostage. Now only if they could convince it to tell them where Optimus Prime is.

Tbh I think you've earned the right to have a silly crack comedy fic complete with courtroom shenanigans.

I mean, imagine Ingo trying to defend them in court by explaining where he's been all this time. Complete with time travel. And the grunts just gesturing at him to PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP YOU ARE MAKING IT WORSE which he just interprets as encouragement.

Bonus points if the grunts are just, like, hapless and more than a little unlucky. Like, joining team plasma the day before shit went down because they thought the uniform was cool looking unlucky. Like, so detached from the central understanding of plasma they don't even recognize N when they meet him level of hapless.

In my mind I’m definitely already characterizing them as hapless and, for the most part, well meaning. They’re my silly little guys. Them not recognizing N is absolutely hilarious though I have to include that.

Lol I personally love the idea that Emmet and Melli have a reasonably long back and forth between them when it comes to Melli's interest in Ingo. Maybe Melli made a bad first impression on Emmet and now has to steadily try to prove to Emmet that his interest in his brother isn't shallow. Or something.

yeah!! I imagine emmet wouldn't like melli's attitude & wouldn't let him get too close to ingo,

so if melli really wants to date ingo he should try his best at changing his bro's opinion on him first hahahah
