fossilizedtreesap replied to your post: What is your favourite spinach recipe?
Bed of spinach, grilled chicken or fish, and Alfredo sauce. Heat meat and sauce. Add any veggies. Also like spinach in citrus based smoothies
Day 8 — Your favorite internet friend
Dear..... Katie and Amber
because i couldn't pick between you two. I actually never anticipated when I started my blog I'd
A. get followers (because... I may be hilarious but I didnt think i was that interesting)
B. meet people who were legit 'real' people.
as cheesy as it is, it makes me happy that you guys actually read my blog and talk to me :| and I do consider you friends that I can reach out to.
and basically you guys are awesome and i love you aaaaaand yeah i'm really bad at writing letters to people who will actually read them :[

So rumor has it they are considering making the infamous the Giver into a movie....
couldnt' find much info on it... but as much as I am all for book - movie adaptations (because it does encourage people to read the books) this article points out exactly what makes it SO hard to translate this book into film....
i'd see it either way but i'm worried.
More on my crooked ways
fossilizedtreesap answered your question: Crooked
Do you have scoliosis? Because I do and that causes my hips/shoulders to be un even giving the illusion of longer/shorter limbs
No, or at least I don't think so. We were checked in school from grades 6-9.

Google led length discrepancy. You can see a video on how to proper do it. Everyone can have a slight deficit. If its over a cm you might need a lift. Hope that helps.
Thanks, I'll do that so maybe we can get the right height.

What do you call a woman with one leg longer than the other? …………….. Eileen. ;-) (My Grandma Eileen’s favorite joke)
hahaha! I've heard it before, but the relevance makes it much funnier.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Yesterday Jeremy found some foam that was left from something he had saved and made a lift insert to go in my left shoe. I actually wore real shoes instead of flip flips yesterday when we were out, so I wanted to give it a try, but it made the shoe way too tight. This means it won't work in most of my flats.
He put it in the running shoes I was using today (under the regular insole), and I wore it for my whole run. When I put my shoes on, besides having to loosen up my laces a bit, I didn't really even notice it was in there. I forgot about it for most of my run. I'm not sure how thick it is- probably ~ 1/8", but it felt pretty good. We'll see how it does on longer runs.
Get in my belly
Friday night started off with being asked if I was watching what I was eating or eating any specific diet or had any allergies. My normal response of no allergies and I don't restrict any foods, I try and balance them out overall. I don't mind eating more on some days as long as I go light on others. Actually I think the wording was, Is this a cheating weekend for you? And since I don't really believe in "cheating" with food....anything food put in your mouth is your diet....my mind already started going down another path and wondering exactly what the question was trying to get at. That started a whole new conversation with a lot more laughter.
Then comes along all the good food over the weekend, by the time I left on Sunday I was starting to wonder if I should have not just eaten everything, because there was good food at all times. I had heard before of Josh being a good cook, what I didn't know was that there was constantly good food. There was something new and amazing being whipped up all the time.
I was pretty certain Monday, normally when I weigh in, mostly from habit, I would have had a solid gain after eating all weekend and not having my normal weekend exercise (I packed work out clothes and shoes, they just sat in the bag.)
I'm guessing we fought off all the food and drink with laughter, because there was no gain this morning...(I really wasn't that worried if there was, just shocked there wasn't).
Thanks again for the wonderful weekend and if you are ever lucky enough to be around when Josh is cooking, enjoy it! (Also must be noted for good food was those delicious and deadly pan of s'more bar crack that Amber brought, and the dip that Brad brought)
On my drive home I was really thinking I needed to change my mind and actually throw a bit more idea of restriction on the eating side. That won't be happening though. I'll just keep laughing more.
(I probably should stop writing and actually get my kids ready for school now.)
