A/n: Y'know, I was half-joking when I said I would end up adding every CSM character that's even slightly feminine to the masterlist, but I don't think it's a joke anymore (apart from Nayuta, for obvious reasons). -Contrary to her mature appearance and eloquent manner of speaking, Fox is actually quite the clingy Devil woman. While she may seem calm and composed to most outsiders, the second someone she doesn't recognise so much as comes within a few feet of you, she bares her fangs and Devil eyes, letting out a low growl until they step away.

-While she technically doesn't require a sacrifice for you to use her power, she is much more motivated when you promise her some sort of reward, namely bits of affection like headpats or ear scratches. Of course, if it's a serious situation where people are dying, then she'll at least be courteous enough to hold off until after the enemy Devil is dealt with to ask for her payment.

-Speaking of head pats, she can be very specific with when she wants them. Sometimes, if she's in the right mood, she'll let you pet her hair and scratch behind her ears without asking. Other times, if you don't give her head pats when she does want them, she'll stare at you with narrow eyes and her ears held flat to the side until you do. If you try to give her affection when she isn't in the mood for it, she'll just look at you and give you a very blunt "Not right now." Which, while coming off as slightly rude, is actually the best way you've seen her react to someone trying to touch her when she doesn't want it. The worst was when a guy tried to sneak up and touch her ears from behind. Now, he lacks the hands to touch anything at all.

-Thanks to her incredible senses of hearing and smell, Fox can easily and quickly sniff out Devils from long distances away. Thanks to her ability, you often arrive at the scene before anyone else, allowing you to get the kill before other Devil Hunters show up. This leads to a promotion and pay rise at work, which Fox expects you to spend at least a portion of it on her. After all, it's her abilities that allow you to locate and eliminate Devils so efficiently, so it's only fair she be rewarded for it.

-Due to her constant stoic expression, it's often hard to tell what exactly Fox is feeling. You could think she's not in the mood to be affectionate, only for her to suddenly drag you to bed to cuddle. Or, you could think she wants you to stroke her head, then get a slightly confused look from her when you reach out to pet her. One emotion that is easy to read off of her, though, is anger, since several of her eyes emerge from her face, neck and even her hair whenever something or someone provokes her (though this is usually directed at others rather than you).

-She mainly prefers to be on the receiving end when it comes to affection, and she expects a lot of it. When cuddling, she'll stare at your chest with a neutral face before nuzzling into it. She also expects a set number of head pats for every Devil she ate that day. While she doesn't actually have any strong or conflicted feelings about eating other Devils, she will use it as an excuse to get affection from you.

-Fox doesn't really have many biases or favourites, tending to remain neutral when it comes to most things. She's used to eating Devils, so most food just tastes bland to her. One thing she does have a bias towards, however, is you. While Fox does still have her contracts with other Devil Hunters to uphold, she tends to give you priority over the others. If you happen to summon her at the same time as someone else, she'll come to your aid first before helping whoever else summoned her. Or, if she's currently helping another Devil Hunter when you summon her, she'll try to get the job done as quickly as possible, sometimes swallowing a Devil before being given permission, just so she can come help you faster.

Just watched Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc on its premiere's 1st screening at 9/24/25

Was in full gear for the movie.

They served too hard & good w/ this movie adapting the Bomb Girl arc which is my favorite arc of the manga.

The music & animation were S-tier.

Spoilers below:

I love how during the imagine spot, they had a close up ass shot of Power in those white panties.

They made the scene where Aki wrapped his arms around Angel after sacrificing 2 months of his life to save him gayer than the manga.

The way Denji & Power exchanged eye contact in the post credits a bit longer than in the manga made the scene a little more romantic especially since Denji actually considered giving Power the bouquet meant for Reze.

I love how Reze's dropped the dynamite from her apron in the river of Typhoon Devil's blood.

I love the quickdraw duel w/ Denji & Reze in the finale of the battle.

Reze has a cute pout & when she sticks her tongue. Same applies to Power in the imagine spot. Beam explaining about Denji's powers was cute & funny also.

The cartoonish sound effects given to Denji & Beam as they flopped around inside the building they were thrown in & the horse noises from Beam when he acted as Denji's trusty steed.

I love the manga styled dream of Denji during the intro.

I'm happy they made Reze's fight w/ Aki a bit longer than the one in the manga. I love how he used the katana's reflection to signal his attack on Reze.

The foreshadowing of Kobeni working at Family Burger when she dropped a burger during the OP. Violence totally bought her another one because he cares about her.

I was offended when Angel threw away the cone after a few bites instead of finishing it like in the manga version. So that scene in the movie was in the park instead of the city sidewalk in the manga.

The scene where the Mysterious Man killed a woman offscreen was definitely an anime only scene.

I love the additional animation of the cigarettes spilling out of the cigarette pack to show that Aki quit smoking & didn't throw the pack away because he's out of cigarettes. I also love the detail of Kishibe offering Aki a cigarette & him not even moving to show he's done w/ smoking.

Power not wanting to work & having to be dragged by Denji & Aki to work during the OP was funny & cute.

They actually kept Reze being initially bottomless during the 2nd Division attack before wearing panties as she presented the vice captain & Nomo's heads to the occupants of Aki's car.

I love how they played ED 3 during the start of Reze & Denji's fight & even extended it. I want a full version of that song.

Nomo's strong enough to tank a headless Reze body bomb wrapped around his body & only lose his right arm in the process.

Vice Captain & Nomo's reaction to the Fox Devil bailing on them after hating Reze's taste was hilarious.

The reaction to Denji eating the flower & the montage of Denji & Makima's theater hopping & Makima's movie critiques were hilarious.

I'm surprised they didn't show the dying Devil Hunter's head being impaled by Aki as he was being mercy killed by him.

So the Futamichi cafe is called Crossroads in the film. Is that what it means in English?

I wasn't surprised they took out Reze's nipples since MAPPA removed any nipples from Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku.
