After a lot of digital editing and final touches, I finished it. I’m not as happy as I could be with this one, but my friend liked it, and I got in finished in time for Christmas present swapping *just*.
Some colour block stuff I did a while back (Guess who’s playing catch up again?) I liked how a lot of artists would do this as practice, so I decided to join in! The first one is of me and my best friend, Chelsey. I learnt a lot about the differences and similarities in our appearences, especially loved doing any that were up closes of eyes.
The second is based on characters from Steven Universe (owned by Rebecca Sugar) I enjoyed this as an experiment, but not as happy with it as the first one. If I’ve learnt anything from this one it’s that I will be drawing Amethyst more.

(04.2017) Some sketches I’ve been working on. Some are fan art, others are original characters. I’m rather happy with how Raven from Teen Titans turned out.
I managed to get all my updates done, and just in time for Inktober! I’m loving it so far, and can’t wait to do more! I’m using @periwinkei ‘s Inktober ‘Monster Girls’ prompt, so here are days 1 and 2, ‘Monstersona’ and ‘Werewolf’!
When it comes to my Monstersona, even though I grew up obsessed with Vampires, I always thought I’d be a werewolf: for my body hair, fluffy mane and desire to howl at the moon - ask my friends, they’ll confirm that last one! And for the actual werewolf route, I went down the fanart path to Clawdeen Wolf from Monster High! I styled her features with ‘Welcome to Monster High’ style Clawdeen, but gave her the traditional outfit her doll has.
I’ve been using poses from all sorts, including art books. I always find sourcing poses the hardest part but it hasn’t made any of this less fun! (02.10.2017)
