Oh right, i have another question. When i see the “comics” (i dont know if they are called like that… Again im brazilian and my english isn’t the best hahaha sorry) with Pink and her “second mother” i can only think “pink is growing” because to me her mom got old in some comics , and i know gems dont “grown” but pink really actually looks physically older if we/i compare the comics… So what you think? is it just in my head?
No worries <3 though I’m sorry if I misunderstand something here ^^;
Freya’s appearance fluctuating a bit is a result of me not 100% settling on her design. She is about middle-aged for her species, though, I know that much. So she wasn't really "getting old" between comics. I'm just indecisive 😅 (I’m getting somewhere though)
As for Pink though, that’s intentional. Pink looking older when she’s with Freya is a visual representation of her growing up under her mentorship. Even after she's healed, Pink looks older. It's kinda like how in canon, Rose looked older than she did when she was Pink Diamond. It’s because she grew up. Pip even has the same thing going on with her change in form.
Freya gives Pink and Pip the freedom and support they didn’t have on Homeworld, so it’s only fitting I keep that visual since she’s allowing for more room for error and by extension growth and betterment for the both of them. They didn’t have to be alone in figuring out the path to a better life.
