We can agree it's most likely a Julia Set I think. I mean the self similarity and just it does not look like the big picture of the Mandelbrot.... (Im explaining it really badly but I can try if someone asks lol) (actually have a 40pg word document explaining it but its pretty bad)

For this project, I took a stage 9 dragon curve and implemented the following rule: for each of the stage 8 fractals contained within the stage 9 fractal, where 4 lines enclose a square, there is 1 bead. I made the background black and then assigned a color to each column. The rainbow is because I am gay, of course. :]

Thoughts about the rectangles with side lengths a la Fibonacci seuqence - and this pattern I came up with earlier today...

I imagine it as a kind of "re-distribution of information".... much like depicted in the video of this neuron:
