He just plain hadn’t been paying any attention. Usually their walks/explorations of the woods went swimmingly, nothing ever happened…except for that one time where they had to be fussed at by gnomes…they might see something interesting.

But neither of them had been seriously hurt before.

A storm had passed through a few days earlier and it always meant that some dead limbs would be loosened, and often they would have to move when a sudden crack would fill the air. He just didn’t pay enough attention to the sounds, too interested in an oddly shaped burrow along the trunk of one large pine to see the oak towering above it lose a limb.

It hit him right in his outstretched arm, and he certainly felt it. Rather like a burst of fire and the feel of bone touching muscle in a not-so-pleasant way-he just knew that something was broken. And at hearing the worry-and slightly scared tone that Celia had used he jerked the arm close to his chest and tried to keep her calm.

“….it’s alright Celia…everything’s fine…” He started, “We might need to cut our trip short alright?”

character in general: sweetie pie! Actual cinnamon too good for this world. how they play them: they’re an oc sooooo there really isn’t much of a character to base her writing off of. But I do adore how they’re played QuQthe mun: Same as character; actual sweetie pie!!!

The Lion’s Love against the Curse

Love. A big power in the Universe, maybe the biggest one. A power that can change times, a power that can make people happy and a power the can save lives. Because there was a fairy who was not allowed to love and to be loved. This was the worst curse that anyone could even get. Love was the Vital force and because of the White Which she had got separated from it.

And she needed help. His help.

The curse said:

If any man, woman, or creature were to love the girl as she loved them, they would be slain.

Aslan loved the Fairy, just like a father loves his children. But this love didn’t cause her death because Aslan was bigger than the Which. His love was more powerful than the Curse.

The Witch and her Cold Winter had been taking Narnia’s land. A lot of Narnians thought that the Lion would never return. But it was not true! How could a Father forget about his family? There were a lot of trees in Narnia but Aslan knew exactly which one was Eliza’s. He also knew that she was alone and heartbroken - and that’s why He had come to her.

“If you need a loving company -” Aslan began, his voice almost sounded melodic. “-then come to Me. But do not fear that, for my Love will give you rest.”

Amber, who had told her Adrien that she would be leaving Paris a week before Christmas to go back to London, never actually left. She wanted to surprise her loving brother by actually staying with him for the Holidays. It was late at night on Christmas Eve, and the young girl was hiding out in the Courtyard of her brother's mansion, a black and green wrapped gift in her hand. She kept checking the watch on her wrist, waiting for the perfect moment to knock on the door.

Adrien knew it was a waste of time, but he had been wallowing in his thoughts all evening. Amber hadn’t been gone for more than a few hours and already he missed her so much. It was going to be another lonely Christmas, and while he knew it was likely to happen, it didn’t make it hurt any less when it did. His heart felt cold and empty, and to top it all off, the present he had meant to give her before she left sat untouched on his desk. He really was unlucky.

It was supposed to be a pleasant day on the town, two siblings simply catching up and enjoying each other’s company, but as per usual, things didn’t go according to plan. They had been out for just a while, walking around the park, making casual conversation when Plagg poked his head out of Adrien’s bag, whispering something to him about an emergency. When Adrien looked up, he saw that Amber appeared to have gotten the same message, as a determined expression was now on her face. He nodded toward a heavily forested area, a cue for the both of them to go transform.

Chat threw back his head and laughed, too caught in the moment to think about what he was doing as the pair of heros entered in through the side door. Amber had been staying with him for a while now, and saving the city together became a regular occurrence. She had joined their patrol and was a good fighter, even if she did tease him for his crush on Ladybug. He couldn’t really remember what they had been laughing about, but from the moment they entered the threshold of the house he knew it was a mistake. His father stood in the hall, a vision of true anger. His eyes were obvious livid, even through his carefully composed facade, and Adrien’s stomach sank to his shoes when he saw it. He hadn’t expected his father to be home at this time of day, and so he figured it wouldn’t be a big deal for them to come home. It appeared that his bad luck was once again catching up to him, “Um... Hi dad...”
