MORGAN SPECTOR as FRANK CAPONE in BOARDWALK EMPIRE (2010-2014)
Night at the Museum: Redesigning Characters 1/4(?)
Character profile: Frank "Noses" Capone
This character is based off of and takes inspiration from the historical Frank Capone.
Real Name: Salvatore "Frank" Capone
Nickname and Meaning: Noses - He got this nickname from being inquisitive and being unafraid to stick his nose into other people's business, even if it gets him into trouble.
Age: 28 (July 16, 1895)
Time Period: Frank is from America's Prohibition in the 1920s, to be exact, hes from April 1st, 1924 Chicago, just before he and a group of Mafioso's went to the polling station near the Western Electric Hawthorn plant.
Family: James "Jimmy" Vincenzo Capone, Raffaele "Ralph" James Capone, and Alphonse "Al" Gabriel Capone + Three younger brothers and one sister that wasn't brought back.
(Headcanons under the cut)
The day Kazimir learned about the middle finger XD
BE FOR THE ASK GAME OBVIOUSLY
blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most):
Charlie. Definitely Charlie. He just fascinates and enrages me (affectionate) so much that I cannot let go. My brain melts every time I think about how he operated and saw more than just what was in it for him as an individual but for the whole underworld (which, yes, he definitely profited hugely from personally). His relationship with Meyer never fails to send me screaming into the sun. The way they worked on every level was unparalleled, they were really soulmates in crime.
Fucking Nefertitties. This asshole.
scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped):
I had to really think about this because I kept going back and forth between Benny and Richard. Meyer would be in the blorbo category with Charlie because he is right up there with him. After some thought, I have to go with Richard. While I love Benny there are just some things that I don't think fit 100% with him in this, while Richard does more naturally. Richard is very murder and babies/family shaped.
scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave):
Chalky. Hands down best dressed on the show, but not appreciated enough.
glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week):
Frank Capone. Okay, yeah he was there for more than 0.2 seconds, but only four episodes?! C'mon! We deserved so much more and some nude scenes. More Capone bro dynamic + more Morgan Spector? It would have been a win/win.
poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave):
You cannot spell Gillian without "controversial" and "problematic."
horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason):
I mean, it would be wrong of me if I didn't say Nelson.
eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell):
Willie. Send him to the super hell of super hell's.
Send me a fandom and I'll tell you my Blorbo
That one gif set made me ship Frank Capone and Nelson Van Alden from Boardwalk Empire SO HARD!! I’m definitely going to make some ship bs for them <3
Has this been done?
look i know it’s my wont to ramble on about team ny but this is just an interruption to your regularly scheduled blogging to remind you that al capone was canonically the youngest out of the three chicago brothers and that fact is simultaneously hilarious and abso-mother-friggin’-loutely heartbreaking
