“I made a choice to be happy.”
Hearing Stef talk a little more detail about when her father caught her and Tess and then forcing her to go to that religious retreat in the last episode has really reignited my strong dislike of him. I know some of y’all don’t me speaking ill of the dead, but screw that. Frank made Stef’s life an absolute hell making her feel a shame of herself as we’ve seen with her internalized homophobia. Not to mention that he didn’t come to the wedding. While i’m sad that Stef and Frank didn’t get a chance to make amends before he died, at the same time, i think that he family is a lot better off without him.
Started 1x06....and Lena just mentioned that Stef is going to go visit her dad.
The Frank episode. Always a hard one to watch. I relate to Stef most of the time on this show, but never more than in episodes dealing with her father.
