alright so, there’s been a little confusion about this post. based on the feedback I’m getting from several people who are interested in participating, I need to have clearer instructions.
so, instead of pulling from the art you already have, I’m going to give the same small, simple drawing prompt to each project participant.
the idea is that, even if everyone draws the same thing, it will look differently because of variations in style. so, I’m going to lay out all of your finished products and look at each one until I decide which parts I’m going to use for one big collage.
if you guessed that the reason the word ‘franken’ was in ‘frankenstyle’ is because I’m stitching multiple styles together like dr. frankenstein did with his monster, you were correct! in a sense, my super secret method is just speedrunning the process of finding quirks you like from multiple different artists and putting them together to create your own style.
as of right now, I have two participants, and I still have to run this change by them, as they thought I would be using premade art of theirs for this project. but I’m sending out a call to artists on tumblr: if you’re still interested in participating, please contact me as soon as possible!
(yes, digital AND traditional art are both acceptable!)
