Thanks to @asimplevampire, the Mashuga's have finally been able to move into their new home on 125 Wright Way which is equally as tacky garish avant-garde as their previous home... which they unfortunately lost in the 1970s due to some bad financial decisions made by Frankie. (Said financial decisions unfortunately did not include investing in up-and-coming computer companies who might've made the Mashuga's billions.)
Now in their golden years, Frankie and Sylvia Marie have recently retired—Frankie ended his storied career as an adventurer as a Hostage Negotiator, while Sylvia tapped out of the Paranormal Career as a UFO Investigator.
Having spent the last forty years in the hustle and bustle of the capitalist rat race, the Mashuga's were looking forward to a long a fruitful retirement that they could fill with various hobbies such as a) day drinking b) swingers parties and c) contacting the spirits of the dead.
This has all been turned upside down by the untimely death of their daughter, Rachel—who passed away in a very mundane fashion when she was frightened to death by a local ghost from the Pleasantview Cemetery. Rather than settle into an idyllic retirement, Frankie and Sylvia are now staring parenthood in the face for a second time—taking custody of their granddaughter, Shoshana.
Shoshana has been whisked away from her hereto mundane existence and has been plopped smack dab into the neon colored nightmare dream that her grandparents call home.
Will Frankie and Sylvia succeed at this second chance of parenthood in their golden years? Or will Shoshana simply end up cramping their style?
