Somebody requested a tour of the home of Gunther and Cornelia Goth. Here it is reimagined as a Greek Revival New Orleans home, with plants adorning all corners of the house.

The front garden features a family cemetery to the right and a rose garden for tea and painting to the left.

The foyer leads to a grand staircase. To the right is the parlor, Cornelia's main room. The portraits will soon be replaced with family pictures.

The kitchen is modern yet antique, with all the amenities that a manor needs. The bathroom and the powder room are both simple yet elegant.

The piano room features a baby grand piano, while the study, Gunther's domain, sits at a moody corner of the house.

The dining room is sunny with access to the conservatory.

If you leave now, you'll pass the birds and the tropical plants on your way to the side entry.

Upstairs, the master bedroom is warm and worldly, and the spacious bathroom suits the elderly couple's daily needs.

The pet room and the sitting room, Cassandra's favorite rooms, are comfortable and intimate, used for the family's more private moments.

[EMMA] This is the fourth time I’ve caught him stealing takeout orders in the past two weeks. I let it slide at first, but I think it needs to be addressed… we can’t have angry customers not getting their food. I’ll leave you two alone…

[FRIDA] Mortimer! Is that true? Have you been stealing food from the diner?

[MORTIMER GOTH] I’m sorry if I got you in trouble, Aunt Frida… please don’t tell Mother… I don’t wanna go to jail! <cries>

[FRIDA] You’re not going to jail, buddy. I’m sorry for raising my voice, ok? You can talk to me. Are you, uhhh… acting out because your dad is missing?

[MORTIMER] <frustrated sigh> It’s not for me. It’s for my friend, Miraj Alvi.

[FRIDA] Help me out a little bit here, Mortimer. Why are you stealing food for your friend?

[MORTIMER] Miraj used to walk over here during lunch, and Mr. Frio would give him something to eat. But Mr. Frio hasn’t been around.

[FRIDA] Mr—oh, you mean Jared? Right… he’s been on a leave of absence…

[MORTIMER] Miraj is hungry, Aunt Frida. He doesn’t have lunch money. I tried giving him my lunch, but he wouldn’t take it. You can hear his stomach growling in the middle of class. And the teacher keeps yelling at him for not paying attention…

[FRIDA] Oh, Morty… that’s…. that’s not right. Not at all. Why isn’t the school giving him lunch for free?

[MORTIMER] Lunch used to be free at school, but it’s not anymore.

[MORTIMER] <sniffles> If I was the mayor of this stupid town, no one would ever be hungry, and everything that everyone needs would be free.

[FRIDA] You tell your friend to ask for me next time, ok? I’ll take care of it. Let me grab something for you to take to him, and then you need to get back to school.

Later that night…

[FRIDA] Gunther, it’s me.

[GUNTHER] Frida? Hank told me you were leaving town. That’s not a good idea, I really wish you would reconsider—

[FRIDA] I’m staying.

[FRIDA] Sunset Valley a place where people get shot and murdered and there is no justice… where little kids go hungry and children try to pick up the slack. It’s not right. I think… if we have the power to make it better—to fix the mistakes of those that came before us—then we should try.

[GUNTHER] So… the battle for Sunset Valley’s future officially begins.

Spinning Wheel households number 10 and 11: Goth & Wolff. For once, I’m including two of my already-edited households in this post. I’m really enjoying this right now. I’ve already determined the 12th household, too, but I’ll definitely play that one sometime later. I really want to continue with my story for now. I was really pleased with how the Goth family turned out. I didn't do much to the house itself, though—I just tweaked the kitchen layout a bit and made Morty's room cozier. I put a bit more effort into the furnishings for the Wolffs, however. I also couldn't resist changing a few of their character traits again. ^^ I just can't help myself. I’m putting this on hold for the moment, but I definitely want to finish it eventually. 🙂 There are still 14 households waiting to be worked on. cu

Cassandra: I’d love to stay longer but Don has work and I'm meeting the girls before class. Sorry again about the tree. Cornelia: Oh dear, don’t worry a bit. I’ll just have to get a real one this year. Gunther: You ain’t bringing no damn evergreen in this house Nelly. You’re out your damn mind. Cornelia: He still believes he has a choice after all these years— precious.
