I should sleep.
That perspective tho.
Also, I made a GIF.

I went from sleeping with my fan on to needing an extra blanket in a matter of days...
I’m freezing..... Honestly waiting for the sun to completely go down so I can take the dog home.
Snow showers? My welcome-home weather is making me damn glad I packed that lightweight down jacket.
I’m feeling like we’ll skip the grocery store run on the way home and I’ll just hit the neighborhood market for any minor supplies and let the old folks drop me and head home as expediently as possible tonight.
There hasn’t been any heating at my place for the past 3 days like 2017 is leaving me with problems to deal with in 2018
When people say winter, this is what I think of:
Scrolling through FB to get my weather news and the big feature this morning was the next community over had to close the schools because with the wind chill it is -20 to -30 (-28 to -34 celsius).
That is what I think of when someone says winter: bitter cold that makes reading (or writing) by the fire the only thing you want to do.
So... I guess Last Chance is going to be today’s edit count. I’m saying that because half of the novella takes place during winter. Plus the climax (life endangering challenge to overcome) is a blizzard.

Me: how cold is it?
Judge: how far did you park?
Me: a block down
Judge: you're gonna be an Amna-sicle by the time you get to your car
