Email from a parent to our admin assistant:

“Hi  Admin Assistant,

Can you please let Ms R know that N will hand in her homework on Monday as she received it a few days late so hasn't had time to complete it. N wanted me to make sure that Ms R knew!”

The homework went out late because I was off sick on Monday, and then the photocopier was kaput on Tuesday. In light of this, I put a note on the front of everyone’s homework saying that because it was two days late going home, they could have until Monday to hand it in. 

And parents wonder why their kids don’t seem to read as well as they could.

Dear Parents

I know I am turning 19 this friday

And I also know that I graduated from high school with good grades, I didn't get pregnant, I went to college, I got a job and I have never come home with boy problems.

I'm even a Virgin by CHOICE.

So..If I ask for A DAMN DOCTOR WHO CAKE I BETTER GET A DAMN DOCTOR WHO CAKE.

God dammit. I hate, hate, being the older sister. I've had to go to every single stupid grade nine event that involves my school for my brother just because 'it's easier'.  First there was the open house, me having to go there and be asked if I am going into grade nine. While I am wearing a freaking school sweater they have the right to ask if I am going to grade nine?! The hell!? I feel so embarssed and so stupid while I go to these things for him. And now, I have to go with him to get his freaking timetable. Just so they can find the classrooms easier. WHAT THE HELL! I didn't get any help, not at all, and now I am expected to go and help him! I am sick and tired of being the older sister and helping the dam kid. I can not get out of this, my dad's all for me not going, but my mom on the other hand. "You have to help him because he's your little brother, things will go easier too. Not like last year when we were searching for your classes and getting lost.", is my mom's reasoning. Just screw this noise.

I ask my dad to fix something bc I freak out when a window is open at night (it like give me anxiety) and he told me to get over. Yes dad, such words of wisdom. Please, tell me more on how easy it is to "get over" panic attacks and anxiety I'd love to hear it.
