On "Why the Freaky Monkey Five are not in Specter's Dating Pool"
Tbh I love recognizing voice actors I love in different roles, like I was playing Ape Escape 3 and when I heard Monkey Pink talk I immediately went "IS THAT DEBBI DERRYBERRY, VOICE ACTRESS FOR JIMMY NEUTRON AND COCO BANDICOOT!?" and sure enough it was.
I love voice actors and voice actresses, it's such an invisible art form and deserves way more respect! I love recognizing voice actors and treating them like a celebrity in my mind

Day 2595 Crosstober 22: Monkey Pink as April O'Neil
Just for fun, what species do you think the Freaky Monkey Five are from Ape Escape? They're cartoony and basically anthro, and i bet Yellow is likely unable to be identified as anything... but I wonder if they may have similarities to any real primates!
If you're okay to look at one more, maybe Specter too? He's the villain of the series. I think it's implied he's just albino though so maybe he's a chimp..
I can confidently say these are the strangest anthropomorphic apes I have ever seen!
Most cartoon monkeys tend to be a bit of a combination of various primate traits, but this takes the cake. I think the yellow one may be based on the vague idea of an orangutan or gorilla, the pink one is a mystery (the little black nose adds to the confusion for sure), the red one is likely based off of a chimpanzee, the white one looks vaguely gibbon like, and the blue one is a bit too obscured by the outfit for me to have a clue. And Specter?
This is a guy. I believe he may be based off of a human, perhaps a subspecies of hot topic customer.
