I'm watching A Nightmare on Elm Street 1984 and I just love watching Freddy because he reads like a guy so into his craft that really wants you to see how cool the special effects were for his time. He's like "Hey, watch this!" [Cuts off own fingers] [Instead of blood spurting out it shoots green liquid]

Or he gives you a devious grin when asked "Who are you?" and slices open his own chest to show you maggots writhing around inside

Or just the general way he chases after his victims like he's really trying to sell the monster act, with so much enthusiasm for the scene. Kind of a clown tbh, I love his performance so far

A Nightmare On Elm Street:

One of the greatest horror movies ever made came to 4K and damn does it look better than ever. I took these from around 8’ away from the LGC3 OLED, shot on the iPhone 16 Pro Max and even from that distance the PQ is superb…a great movie to take me into the festive season
