I don't know if you can calvins dad this one im just having a hard time imagining something that is simultaneously a freddy and a gorehound. ambush vs persistence predators and all that

like a gorehounds a slasher thats going to follow you around and slash you or whatever but a freddy is sort of theoretically omnipresent and will just like randomly occur

ok wait no I think i figured out a better explanation

a freddy is scary because you don't know where it is

a gorehound is scary because you know exactly where it is (approaching you)
