However, how is it possible to practise the new vocabulary? 3000 words is quite a high number, and it is very easy to become demoralised when starting such a huge task. Also, is it really useful to just read a dictionary? Without using the vocabulary, will it be possible to remember it?
In this blog, we will divide the list into smaller units of 30 words to make them easier to learn. You should keep a vocabulary diary, and it would be a good idea to buy a small writing book especially for writing your new words. In the diary, you should keep a note of
word/pronunciation/definition/dependant preposition/word in a sentence
A vocabulary diary is useful for different reasons.
1 - You will create a structured and clear understanding of the new word in your mind.
2 - You will take the diary with you everywhere you go and write new words as you hear them, adding more information when you are near a dictionary.
3 - You will be able to read your work again regularly to reinforce your memory of the words, and increase your fluency in the English language.
This is a very efficient, cheap, and powerful way to improve your English vocabulary, and is useful for all levels of student. This is especially useful for Cambridge exam students, as having a good vocabulary is equally important as having good grammar in these exams.

This drill is a bit crazy, but really good for your core, abs, and upper body(chest, triceps, shoulders)
The drill consists of push ups and crunches. You start at 10 of each and work your way down to 1 going as fast as you can.
Here is how you do it:
Start in push up position beside a mat. Complete 10 push ups
Roll over and position yourself in table top on your back. Your legs come up with knees bent at 90 degrees and your legs in table. Cross your arms across your chest and complete 10 crunches.
Roll back to push up and complete 9 push ups, then 9 crunches, 8 push ups and 8 crunches. Keep going until you get down to 1 push up and 1 crunch.
If you want to make it harder, you can work your way back up to 10 or increase the amount of reps by 10's. Try 20 PU/20 Crunches or go for the ultimate 100 PU /100 crunches.

Set your timer for 2 minutes
Get in a squat stance position and lower into a half squat or more. Then jump and jack 10 times
After 10 jacks, hands up and fall forward to the ground dropping into a push up, then power out of the push up back in to your squat stance. Complete the power up push ups 10 times
Continue to repeat 10 low jacks, 10 power up push ups for 2 minutes.
Count number of reps you are completing(1 rep count is 10 jacks and 10 push ups) and record your number. Complete the challenge 2 more times during 1 week and record your number.
