They're at Callisto's place - not because Callisto dislikes the apartment, or spending time with Ruth. It's just not economical to squeeze the three of them into a bed, even if both she and Ruth were tiny.

Besides, it was nice to have a lazy morning without worrying about disturbing anyone - as evidenced by the way Callisto stretches alongside Funke. She's stolen his shirt, and realises as she alters the trajectory of her kiss (from his lips down to his shoulder) that she hasn't brushed her teeth yet.

annette assumes she's included in this, which isn't an offense at all. she's been called far worse, with her large hazel eyes that don't blink quite as much as they should & her stilted speech patterns. she shrugs at ruth's statement, relatively unaffected. And what, pray tell, has put Hartley - in her steam-pressed blouse and expensive jeans and sensible (heeled to the sky but enclosed) boots here, at this trashy bar, looking for this man? Well, she's been on the trail of some group with some powers - not her normal type of hunt, but there had been some incidents and the word had come from higher up, so here she was. She'd followed enough of a trail to learn that this Francis Funke could be her in, but now she had to find him to keep this thing moving. Exhausting - working alone was much more efficient.
