Recipe: http://peasandpeonies.com/2017/03/slow-cooker-french-dip-sandwiches/
This pasta dish has caramelized onions, garlic, and a creamy vegan sour cream sauce. It tastes great and is a great vegan take on the classic French onion dip.
Ingredients: 8 oz pasta of choice. 2 large onions, thinly sliced. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tbsp olive oil. 1 cup vegan sour cream. 1/4 cup nutritional yeast. 1/4 cup vegetable broth. 1 tbsp soy sauce. 1 tsp onion powder. 1/2 tsp garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste. Chopped chives for garnish optional.
Instructions: Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions and cook until caramelized, stirring occasionally, about 20-25 minutes. Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for another 2 minutes until fragrant. In a small bowl, mix together vegan sour cream, nutritional yeast, vegetable broth, soy sauce, onion powder, and garlic powder until well combined. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with caramelized onions and garlic. Pour the vegan sour cream mixture over the pasta and toss until evenly coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped chives if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!

You can enjoy a tasty patty melt that combines the tastes of French onion dip and potato chips. If you're looking for a tasty treat, this Onion Dip-n-Chips Patty Melt is the way to go.
Ingredients: 1/2 lb ground beef. 1/4 cup French onion dip. 1/4 cup potato chips, crushed. 2 slices Swiss cheese. 2 slices rye bread. 2 tablespoons butter. 1/4 cup caramelized onions. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Put the ground beef, French onion dip, and crushed potato chips in a bowl and mix them together. Add salt and pepper to the patty after you've made it. Put the patty in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook it for three to four minutes on each side, or until it's done the way you like it. Put butter on one side of each slice of rye bread while the patty is cooking. On the side of one of the bread slices that isn't buttered, put a slice of Swiss cheese. Cover the patty with foil and put it on a plate when it's done. This will keep it warm. Put the onions that have been caramelized back into the same pan and cook for a few minutes, until everything is hot. Toast the bread slice and spread cheese on it. Then put the patty on top of the bread slice and top it with the caramelized onions. Cover the onions with the other piece of bread, butter side up. In the skillet, toast the bread and melt the cheese on each side of the sandwich for about two to three minutes. Take the patty melt and cut it in half. Serve it hot.
