Me: *Picking clothes for the 1st day of freshmen year

Her: “Ohh that looks nice!”

Me: I know right? :D 

**The next day..

Me: Morning mom I’m off to school

Mom: Wearing THAT? You should’ve worn the...(bla bla bla)

Me: But... Its my favorite shirt.

Mom: Even so, go back to your room and change. Try to look at the mirror would you? So you can see what you’re wearing.

Me: *Went upstairs

Mom: Put some powder on! Look presentable for once.

....

Her: “But its cute and simple, why didn’t she like it?” 

Me: I don’t know..

Her: “Are you just gonna let this happen?” 

Me: Its just the way it is... You simply cant win.
