I am gonna say it,

Appreciating aesthetics can be a good way to connect more with goddess Aphrodite, and all goddesses and deities that rule over beauty.

Beauty is sacred, and doing things or appreciating things just for their beauty can be a sacred act on its own, provided we appreciate beauty to connect more with the divine nature associated with it.

So yeah, doing things just for the ✨ aesthetic ✨ can be a devotional act for Aphrodite and the deities that rule over beauty.

Hi :) to any of you who are scrolling through any of the tags i put on this post, my name is Hannah. I’m honestly super bad with introductions, which is ironic because i’m actually a pretty good writer, but introductions aren’t my strong suit cause i tend to ramble...like i am... right now lmao

i guess i’ll start with the basics: I’m 18, about to start college in 3 days. I’m a beginner electic witch, which I understand may be concerning to those of you who have been working with deities for a while. I understand it isn’t something that’s eagerly recommended for a beginner witch, and I haven’t fully started working with the two deities who have reached out to me (freyja and apollo) quite yet. i’m just in the phase of learning everything about them, and i plan to learn and practice warding and protection spells so when i do fully delve into the reality of working with such powerful entities. I do however want to mention that although I’m just beginning the craft and truly learning about it, i’m not new to spirituality and magick. i’ve always been connected to something deeper, ever since i was a little kid. I’ve always had that inner knowing that I was apart of something bigger than any of us could even phathom. I’ve constantly been asking questions about life and it’s deeper meaning since before I knew mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell lmao. I’ve been having my spiritual awakening for about 2-3 years, at least thats when I became aware i was having a spiritual awakening, and i am very committed to it. I’m committed to learning more, not committed to a tiktok trend.

With that being said, i’m going to use this blog to not only track my progress with apollo and freyja, but also my progress in spirituality all together. new ideas i have/learn. any spiritual insight/downloads i gain. my progress with shadow work, and just anything i feel like sharing as I go down this eternal journey of my craft. and hopefully to make some friends along the way, even though this side of tumblr seems fairly small. You’ll learn a lot more about me later, but until then, thanks for reading 💕

Freyja crying tears of gold for those killed because of things they can’t control. Freyja in the crowd at the Women’s March, her cries for justice silent to our ears but all the others seem louder somehow. Freyja.
