Self-love ritual bath

Everyone needs to honor themselves and through ourselves we honor the divine. This ritual bath is intended to cleanse your energy and relax your body and mind. As with any ritual, spell, or invocation, this can be adapted to your own preferences (especially with the himalayan sea salt and essential oils, they are very expensive, but I still recommend the pink salt if possible). Always add more candles if you feel comfortable. I love candles and they really set the mood.

Gather together at least one pink or red candle and a white candle, 2 cups epsom salt, 1 cup pink himalayan sea salt, and 1/2 cup fresh or dried flowers and herbs (such as roses, jasmine, and other herbs I’ve listed on the Friday correspondences), rose essential oil or oils of choice, and as many crystals and healing stones (such as those from the correspondence list) as you can. These stones can be placed around the tub, or if you prefer, in the bath water. I also enjoy eating a sweet dish of strawberries, milk, and honey, all of which are auspicious foods for this day.

In another small bowl, add some salt and a small crystal. On a small piece of paper, write a wish, blessing, or prayer and place in the bowl. Light your candles and place them in a safe area, but be sure you can see them. Make sure you put your bowl near your candles.

As you gently step into the bath, keep your words in mind from the paper. Rinse your body with the water, beginning with your chest (heart chakra), throat (throat chakra), forehead (third eye), the top of your head (crown chakra). Then relax.

Enjoy your sweet dish, such as strawberry kheer (Indian Rice or Tapioca Pudding).
