I’ve been trying to understand what I feel… and the truth is, I don’t feel what I think I’m supposed to feel.

It’s not that I don’t care. I do. Just… not in that way. And I don’t want to pretend something I don’t feel, because that wouldn’t be fair to you.

I think I’ve changed with time, or maybe I’ve just become more honest with myself. It’s hard for me to feel something real, and I don’t want to force it just because it’s what’s expected.

I don’t need big words or promises. Those don’t really reach me. I notice the small things, the quiet ones… and when something is real, I feel it there. And right now, I don’t feel that kind of love growing in me.

I wish I could explain it better. I wish you could just understand what I mean without me having to find the right words.

I don’t want to hurt you. I just want to be honest, even if it’s uncomfortable.

I don’t know what comes next… but I don’t want to build something on something that isn’t truly there.

We Were Close, But That Doesn’t Mean We Still Belong

Some people come into your life like fire — loud, wild, unforgettable.

You laugh with them until your stomach hurts. You cry with them. You swear you'll never drift. Never lose touch. You plan birthdays, dream futures, and say things like “forever.”

Then, slowly… life happens.

Schedules misalign. Conversations thin out. Replies get shorter. You don’t fight — you just fade. And one day, you realize you’ve gone weeks, months, maybe even years… without them.

And it stings.

So here’s what I had to learn (and unlearn):

Growing apart doesn’t erase the closeness that once was.

It just means your paths needed different terrain.

Sometimes, we outgrow people who once fit perfectly in our lives. Not because anyone did something wrong — but because we’re no longer the same. And that’s okay.

You don’t have to hate someone to let them go.

You don’t need a dramatic ending to close a chapter.

Sometimes the most honest goodbye is the one you whisper silently as you keep walking forward.

I used to think distance meant failure.

That the end of a friendship or connection was a sign I messed up. But now I see it differently: some people were never meant to walk with you forever — just far enough to help you become who you needed to be.

Love doesn’t always end with bitterness.

Sometimes, it ends with quiet gratitude.

“I’m thankful you were there when you were.”

That’s enough.
