Yeah i did, but it was more complicated than that :^( i can still appreciate it objectively but otherwise, my heart kinda blocked it out. Like it makes me upset on sight. Maybe because of circumstance, my fandom experience, and most likely my personal experience with it. The latter being rather rocky.

Ahem. So uhhhh this blog has a very sneaky theme, I’m not sure if you’ve noticed it yet. But ‘round here we like ourselves some Light.

can you relate to this character on a personal level?: no | not really | somewhat | yes | they are me

A lot of Light’s traits made Death Note really resonate with me, although I’m no mass murderer of course. But I identified with his perfectionism, his idealism, his desire to change the world. How few people really looked past what’s outside to see the real person beneath. The pressures of society and family to conform, and having to sneak around to be yourself. Wanting to achieve, be the best, and grabbing onto someone who’s like you (despite the regrettable circumstances).

He’s a troublemaker and gives zero fucks, so I relate to that. He’s way more wild than me haha, but he’s way more wild than anyone.

I think we’d probably be too unstable and end up with death threats rather than sweet nothings, but I could definitely see hanging out. I’d wanna borrow his clothes and we’d gripe about blonde problems.
