nonspecific imagine (involves cuddling in bed, take that as you will) lends itself to platonic or queerplatonic interpretation
You fall asleep in the same bed you’ve laid in for years, alone and wishing that f/o could be there for you, cuddling you and helping you get to sleep. You resign yourself to another night alone but when you wake up… you aren’t.
F/O is laying right next to you, snoozing. You’re pressed together and it takes you a moment to figure it out. The person looks exactly like f/o, but how?? Even their smell is exactly how you’d describe it..
You decide to snuggle back into f/o, letting sleep, their warmth and their comforting presence drag you back into unconsciousness
… until f/o wakes up, mumbling in confusion, stroking your hair as they stare at your sleeping form. Their touch brings you out, and you blink up at them.
You two talk, and it turns out for all your wishing, your f/o was wishing for you too!! They’re just as confused as you when they realise you selfshipped with them- always thinking you were to cool for them. You giggle it off, grabbing their hand and dragging them up. You can’t wait to live your life with your f/o, now that theyre no longer fictional.
