Custom Invader, Proto#1. from Andre De Villiers, and ADV Tactical. IMHO, this knife which was a grail to me, met every expectation I ever hoped a Custom could meet. The awesome looking on the clip alone, amazed me, in part because it was a special clip that I had asked for and designed with him. Not to mention the excessive and extreme file work he did on the spine. Here are the Specifications. To start with, it has some awesome S35-VN steel that's a chunk, nothing lightweight here. It's a combo satin blasted blade with, polished flats. Carbon Fiber inlay,, plus it has an extra, custom decorative, "filed" spine , and a beautiful Timascus Clip Also the Color theme is Annodized purple and blue. With (heavy duty rollers) in the pivot screw area. Also what I think is really cool is the fact that Andre allowed me to help him design the blade. We mashed two of his previous designs together, so it came out as a cross between one of his previous Tantos and one of his previous Wharncliffe's with my specifications thrown in. Andre has grown to be a great personal friend as well as one of my favorite knife makers. My Frankenstein came in the mail yesterday. It is a beautiful piece of art. Solid silver, and hand carved to my specifications. All done by my brother, David, aka @inkedbylife He really is an artisan who is extremely talented. How much do I really treasure the work he does? How much do I trust him? Not to brag but, I sent him $20,000 worth of rings yesterday, and he is going to make a ring especially for my wife. I will share it with you when it's complete. He really is a genius and if you had the chance to stop by the razor-sharp unlimited @razorsharpunlimited booth at blade show, not only did you get some awesome deals from that David, but hopefully you had the chance to see some of this David's work that was on display.
