Does york have a clun fair for the winter semester? Im thinking about joining clubs then

Usually, YFS holds events for Frost Week, which included a Clubs Fair this past January. The schedule for Frost Week in January 2017 is currently still available at http://www.yfs.ca/yfs-frost-week/, which should give you an idea of what might be planned for this coming January.

Mine's going pretty good so far, how is yours?

I don't think there will be another club day but you can definitely keep an eye our for posters closer to the date. Various clubs also table throughout the year too :)

I am applying to York for the winter 2015/January semester, and also living in residence. Is it going to be difficult to adjust socially without attending the fall semester/doing freshers stuff etc?

It's hard to say, it really does depend on you. You will be at a little bit of a disadvantage, but there is a Winter week long type of event (Frost Week I think) and as long as you make an effort to get involved with social things like clubs or sports, you should have no problem at all :)

For the dive in movie night, the dirty bingo and the poker night can I bring a non York friend with me?

If you’re referring to the events on the Frost Week schedule, then yes those are only for York students. Although, I do remember for Pub Night non-York students were allowed to attend for a fee of $5.

Are there additional college events/parties during the year? and is there a winter frosh, like frost week ?

Each college usually hosts a couple events during the year, such as trips to Montreal and Blue Mountain, or Coffee Houses. York also holds a couple events as well. There is a frost week, but it’s not quite as intense as frosh week (since it’s during classes this time), but it’s still a ton of fun!
