Post-con post time! Desucon Frostbite 2018 took place just this past weekend, and it was a blast, as always.
Friday: Fenris (Dragon Age II) A casual(ish) closet cosplay modern Fenris (which I don’t really have any good pics of), because my wardrobe apparently has an edgelord/emo section and because I wanted to practice using my skin paint palette (hot damn it’s tricky getting those tats painted neatly when you can’t really see under your chin). I might have been inspired/coerced into considering making a proper Fenris at some point in the future.
Saturday: Chrom (Fire Emblem Awakening) The domestic debut of the Chrom cosplay I finished for Närcon 2017. Just as swishy and regal and glorious as the last time, apart from the tiny little mishap of forgetting to bring my Falchion with me... Starring @oinanibakamite as Lissa, again just like at Närcon.
Sunday: IPRE crew Taako (The Adventure Zone) Starring the delightful @mizukibull as Lup, we dabbed and derped and ab fabbed all through the day like there was no tomorrow. I felt like the living embodiment of the phrase “it’s called fashion, look it up”. The hat is an approximate 1.2 meters in diameter, complete with Christmas baubles and peacock feathers, and brings my full wizarding height to probably about 2.3 meters. A ridiculously fun cosplay.
Loot: shitload of Fire Emblem art that’ll join the collection on my wall, by @cidate and others I didn’t catch the contact details of. Also, we’ve got surplus IPRE patches, please inquire within to help us alleviate production costs!
