so it took me a until the very end to figure out how i wanted their scales to look kinda like butttt
i think i like how it looks like this
the part circled in pink is what i mean to be the one i like most.
the purple ones i may use for the spikes on their faces but it'll probably end up being the ones for their tails
the blue ones are probably gonna be wherever the purple arent
and yk the regular dragon horn placement above their brow bones? was thinking of making those look smth like icicles and the shape distorts as it goes down thwir bodied to look like the pink, then shrinks in the front to look like the blues
yes the blue and purple are not just different sizes, they are different shapes and if u cant see that then that obviously mean im right bc im always right /j
but srsly the blue r more likee idk how to explain it uh their outer lines r more curved so they stick up more and the purple r more flared. if i dont wind up using the purple theyre gonna go to another species i have in mind that has some parts that are very (clearly?) inspired by rainwings
but i dont have a draft of frostfangs or the other mysterious and unnamed species yet sooooo stay tuned ig

Frostfang is a majestic dragon with a stunning appearance that reflects its northern heritage. The dragon’s eyes are a deep, piercing blue, reminiscent of the winter sky. Its wings, vast and imposing, are edged with shimmering frost that catches the light with an almost magical glow. Frostfang’s breath is a chilling mist that freezes anything it touches, adding to its fearsome reputation.
Size
Frostfang is medium sized, and not so battle hardened. Its imposing presence and the icy aura it exudes make it a formidable creature in its own right.
History
Frostfang has a storied history that reflects its importance to House Stark. The dragon was bonded with Daenys Targaryen, the reader’s mother, a dragonrider of notable skill and bravery. Daenys rode Frostfang during her time in the North alongside her husband Luceon Arryn, using the dragon’s icy breath and strength to defend the lands and support the Stark family. The bond between Daenys and Frostfang was one of mutual respect and understanding, and the dragon played a crucial role in many pivotal moments in the history of House Stark and House Arryn.
