In Into The Ynuungaap the Hero says

Hero: We should get to Envy in a matter of weeks. Or months, in worst case scenario.

so, like, canonically, it was at minimum a month there and back but given that Adrift happened, I think we can assume that the worst case scenario did, in fact, happen, so it probably did take multiple months!

I’ve got someone in my OotA campaign playing a ranger whose knowledge about nature is entirely academic and they’ve like. never been outside before

MAN that’s so good. 

So much of like, plant and animal and fungi identification pretty much has to be learned in the field, so I’m basically imagining a college student who majored in biology but went, like, the genetics route instead of ecology or wildlife so they academically understand animals but have never even seen, like, a squirrel
