“Yes! I am brave.”

A smirk rode confidently upon the rhinoceros child’s maw as she leaned back in her chair, looking perfectly at ease with the world around her. Showing off, boasting... it was her most favourite pastime, honestly. Right now, she didn’t even know if anyone was listening to her - but Cera was going to address anyone and everyone within earshot, whether they liked it or not.

The scene was a small cafe just a bit outside the edge of Tundra Town. Her dad had been taking her out for a treat, a day of father-daughter bonding time; however, urgent police business in the area had forced him to abandon that plan. Unable to take Cera with him, he’d told her to wait in the cafe, and he’d be back for her shortly.

And of course, for as boastful a child as Cera was, there was only one way to fill that time.

If she proclaimed her bravery loudly enough, surely someone would want her to tell them more, right?

     “Periwinkle! I’ve been looking for you.” Zarina, resident pixie dust alchemist of Pixie Hollow, was on a mission and couldn’t be stopped until she met her target--not even to have her wings frosted at the border. She was at least keen enough to keep them under a coat, well-accustomed to the un-fairy-like method of transportation known as walking anyway.

winter air overthrew any warmth he had grown to know in such a short period of time. it wasn’t often that he would have to travel to the winter season, not that he didn’t mind. his friends no where to be seen, he had decided he would go off on his own to look for them. the young prince and his rabbit companion didn’t hesitate to take off on new adventures thru the forest on their own.

a days travel would be wasted; no sign of his friends anywhere. it was starting to get late and the young skunk would grow tired. yawn escaping from his short muzzle, he’d find the one spot that wasn’t covered in snow and make himself at home. soon enough, he’d fall asleep, tail wrapping around his body as a blanket to keep himself warm during the cold winter night.

“I haven’t gone for a flight in ages!” Mavis said, happily spreading her satiny, black wings. This was an incredibly dramatic statement, but who was going to call her on it? “Race you!” she said, zipping around the pixie.
