Tinkerbell had yet to have created a device that managed to transport wingless fairies around in Fairy Haven. When her best friend Rani had sacrificed her wings to save, she had gone to work but come up empty. However, it hadn’t stopped her from trying, and it wasn’t going to - not when she knew more fairies were having the same request. “I’ve been working on something, but I haven’t been successful yet,” she responded, noticing how discouraged the other seemed. Placing a reassuring hand on her shoulder, there was a small smile on Tinkerbell’s lips and a determined look in her eyes. “But I promise you that it won’t stop me from trying.”

The little fairy glowed, sounds of tiny timing bells expressed as Tinkerbell nodded eagerly with a grin. Her wings fluttered over his fingers, dripping a trail of fairy dust wherever she went. He appeared to be in awe at the sight of her, which only made her happier. There was nothing like a clumsy seeing the magic of a fairy for the first time. Her tiny hands clung to the sleeve of his blouse, tugging lightly at it - attempting to guide the young boy somewhere.

“Come on, hold still!” Bess whined slightly to herself, attempting to add the last stroke to her next potential masterpiece. When they had agreed to come and model for her with their own special attribute, Bess had been overly ecstatic. However, she had forgotten what the worst thing was with painting a living thing on canvas; for starters, they could never stand still. An exasperated sigh escaped past her lips, brown eyes peering over the canvas. “Why don’t we take a break?” Maybe it would clear both their minds and regain their motivation.

Tinkerbell’s tiny kitchen was a mess. She had suggested that Prilla could stay while she went out to go and fetch some things for her next projects, only to come up to batter and frosting stuck on the counter everywhere. “Surprise!!” Prilla squealed, presenting a cake for her. “It’s our friendship day! So I got Dulcie to try and teach me how to make a raspberry/lemon grass cake! Isn’t it cute?? It’s green and pink and everything! And look at all those layers—“ she gushed, entranced by all the different colors. Hopefully it’d taste as good as it looked. “I wanted to make you something special, so I hope you like it!”
DARCY:
Normally, it wasn’t unusually for a girl to be enamored with the idea of being a mermaid. And normally, they got a lot of girls in the shop who obviously loved mermaids who gravitated to the seashells, crystals, and anything else they had on display that was remotely mermaid related. But because of who and what Madge was, it was a kept secret that if you really needed to know about mermaids, all you had to do was ask and you could be given resources not available to the public - this book being one of them, which was where Darcy’s curiosity stemmed from, though she had to remind herself that just because someone was inquiring about their secret storage, that didn’t make them a mermaid. “Well yeah, of course.” She replied slowly, hand stalling at the question just for a quick second even though it was her own question being thrown back at her. “I mean, who wouldn’t, right?” She continued with a lighthearted chuckle as she rang up the purchase. “Your total is twenty five, even.” She states the price, offering the book back in a bag with a small smile, knowing the book with a bit on the pricey side.
Rani had been prepared for the price, which was why she wasn’t bothered by it. It had required a huge amount of research to even find it, making her believe that it was special. At least it appeared that they both agreed on how magical it would be to become mermaids. Rani couldn’t help feeling a little bad about lying, but she couldn’t have her knowing. It was better that she didn’t.
Offering the money over the counter, she took the bag with the book inside, offering a beaming smile. “Thank you! Hope you have a nice day!” she responded before leaving the shop.
TINKERBELL:
“I already got my daily ration,” she answered, regretting already that it was one of her most perceptive friends she was speaking to now. There was no hiding feelings from her, and she would know exactly what it meant that she wasn’t spending so much time with Terence just because she needed fairy dust.
At least it was Rani, and not anyone else. Tinker Bell took a deep breath and sighed, relaxing next to the water fairy for a peaceful moment. After a few long seconds she spoke up again, “I wasn’t really–”
Now that just brightened the smile on Rani’s lips, a light giggle escaping past her lips. “Uh-huh.” Blonde eyebrows were wiggling lightly, pleased to know that she wasn’t just going to hang out with him for dust. “You know, he seems to be hanging an awful lot around you,” she answered cheekily.
Rani was nosy as ever, wanting to know whether they were moving forward in some direction. The water-talent knew that Tinkerbell had a fondness to him, so she wanted to make sure that she acted upon them - especially when she had the feeling that he liked her too. “What will you be doing? Is he gonna help you with one of your projects?”
TINKERBELL:
tink knew they moved, she always made sure she knew where her tools were and if they moved even an inch. she just didn’t know how she would be able to figure it out. it’s not like anyone was watching right outside the door, especially vidia. “i don’t think anything’s gone.” thank goodness. none of her inventions looked damaged either. it just looked like someone moved things to mess with her, not to really do any damage to her things. tink crossed her arms over her chest. she wants to believe vidia but just the fact she said that raised her suspicions. “a mouse just came in and moved my tools around?” she repeated it back to the other with a raised eyebrow. “i might just ask around if anyone’s seen anything. people are always around here, someone had to have seen something.”
If Tinkerbell believed that there was something that was unusual, Vidia would choose to go with her gut rather than her own. She didn’t spend enough time hanging out in her workshop to fully grasp what happened here and what didn’t. “Maybe ask your little loverboy? He comes here a lot, doesn’t he?” Of course he did, Terence went to every fairy to ensure that they got their daily ration of dust. It was the only thing he was useful for. Besides that, she didn’t like him. Everyone knew that Tinkerbell and Terence were all buddy-buddy and he always spoke of her like a lovestruck puppy. “If I were you, he’d be my prime suspect.”
ROSETTA:
@faiiryhaven asked Yards of fabric and I still feel naked.
“I know right??” Rosetta looked down at her dress and then back to Fawn. She didn’t know why these clothes had to be so thin, but maybe it was just the style these days. “I feel so exposed!” she said as she covered her chest a little. Maybe that was a little too dramatic, but sheer clothes were new to her and she didn’t seem to like them. Though she probably would in time. “I don’t understand sometimes.”
“Not gonna lie to you, but I kind of miss my pants,” she admitted, crossing her arms in front of her chest. Fawn didn’t know how Rosetta had managed to convince her to model with her for some rather extravagant dresses. Either way, she knew that she didn’t like it. “When do you think we can go home? I miss playing with the animals,” she grimaced, already bored with it. Standing still wasn’t one of Fawn’s skills. It was clear that this wasn’t the usual setting she found herself in.

STARTER CALL! Hiii, we’re back!! This blog has been pretty dead, so let’s try to rectify that! Like for a starter!
ROBIN:
The close attention the fairy paid to his wings made Robin slightly nervous–he was certainly drawing too much notice over the unique feature, and any questions about that would lead to others about his presence. He couldn’t let too much about himself be revealed or he’d have to get lost before he had done what he’d come to do. But he also couldn’t resist a flicker of amusement as he realized Fira was subtly reaching to touch his wings, maybe not even realizing it herself until his words seemed to snap her back to attention. He returned her smile.
“That will be great. I’ll let you lead the way!” With that, he’d decided. Fira was the one whose wish he’d come to grant today. Now he just needed to learn what it was that she wanted.
Fira just figured that he was a fairy with his own special quirk. Some were born a little different from the rest of them, but this quirk?? It was probably one of the most beautiful ones she had seen, and although it was hard to retract her attention from them, she gathered enough strength to do just that.
Letting her wings flutter, she navigated him through fairy haven, introducing him to the different hot spots. However, one place he would probably find himself used a lot would be near the mines with the mining talents. “— And these are the mines. We tend to light up the way for the mining talents through the darkest days, which is pretty much all the time here. I really think you’ll be of good use next time we're accompanying them.” Especially from the way his wings glowed. Fira would even deem that he managed to glow brighter than she did.
“I bet that you’re pretty exhausted, and perhaps hungry too — why don’t we go and visit the teahouse? They have the greatest sunflower muffins in the world. It shouldn’t be too crowded since we missed tea time.”
TINKERBELL:
her nook was off limits to everyone except her and people she let in. but something was off when she walked in. her hammer was on the desk and now it was on the nightstand. tinker bell knew that it changed locations and she knew her tools didn’t just get up and walk. “someone was in here while i was gone. my stuff’s been moved.” she noticed it again with more objects. a different blueprint was on her desk than the one that was there when she left. “did you see anyone near here while i was gone?” she only left for an hour, at most, to sit on the beach to try and relax.
One of Vidia’s favourite activities were to bother Tinkerbell a little, always offering her the expected reaction. She was feisty and it was fun — but today, she hadn’t seen a reason to do it. So when she mentioned that somebody had been to her home, Vidia found herself furrowing her eyebrows. “No, I didn’t — I was working on trying to fly faster.” Something that interested her a bit more than Tinkerbell’s trinkets. “You better not believe that I did it — maybe a mouse got in or something. ” However, the result would probably have been a bigger mess if there had been.
