In the evening, red is looking at you in a different way.
Anywhere you turn your gaze you will feel its assault immersing your view under waves of crimson. From between half closed eyelids, the flowers are watching you pass, with immobile faces after an entire day at the street market. Aromas safely kept locked inside, spicy peppers lie in waiting, chubby skin shining in the evening lights right next to tiny baubles of cherry tomatoes - themselves reminiscent of seasonal decorations. Christmas is not far back yet it still feels like overflowing from tinted stalks in fake hues of a certain elderly soft drinks guy.
The artificial glow of sodium lamps could make you forget it’s still winter because even the cold takes a step back in front of the deep heat of coal red mangoes radiating a smolder of exotic shores. The evening perfumes of charming cheer and fizzy cherries, of mellow sweetness and of Rodenbach Fruitage… In the Copenhagen street market everything is red and everything is kind, everything is warmth and everything whispers you to stay.

Took this straight out of the freezer. The cherries and elderberries give a super sweet boost this beer. The aftertaste lets you know this was aged in an oak cask. I am not a huge fan of aged beer. I could make an exception for this. The combination of the berries and oak give off a sort of sweet and sour vibe.
