We just witnessed the saddest death in fairy tail, ever

Some of you will answer “shut the fuck up, the plot twist wasn’t even well made” and to that I will answer : “you got a point there, but!”

Here’s what i’m talking about: August

This man, grow up around the man who was his father and he knew it all along Still, he admired him and his goal, so, what he did? he kept quiet. He just went with it and lived while knowing his father was right beside him all along and he never knew he has a son.

More people began to join his father and, one of them, being Larcade, that kept on bringing the fact that Zeref was his father. Even know Zeref didn’t even gave a fuck, Larcade had the chance to at least try to be noticed and prove himself to be worth his son.

August couldn’t.

He kept quiet and stayed beside his father as one of his right hand.

And now, the thought he has about his mother.

She never met him. She never knew he existed. she never even knew she had a child. And even if she discovered it, small chance are she is not going to react the same way Gildarts did when finding out about cana being his daughter.

And still, all he wanted was to, at the very least, getting the chance to hug his mother just once.

So here’s how sad this is, if you don’t get it yet

This guy loved his parents from the bottom of his heart. 

He was ready to sacrifice his life for them

And he did

Taking with him the only chance of them knowing they had a child who love his parents so much, even know they don’t

and won’t
