For Macbeth/Midnight, romance is a quiet, intense affair. He isn't the type for grand public speeches or bouquets of roses; instead, his affection is shown through shared silence, physical proximity, and a fierce, protective stillness.

The "Human Pillow" Routine: Macbeth is almost always tired. His biggest romantic gesture is inviting you into his personal space to nap. He won't say "I love you," but he will pull you down onto a velvet sofa, rest his head in your lap, and fall into a deep, trusting sleep—something he rarely does around anyone else.

Creating "Quiet Zones": If you’re in a crowded or noisy place and looking stressed, Midnight will subtly use his Reflector magic to distort the air around you, muffling the sound and creating a private, silent bubble for just the two of you.

Curated Comfort: Midnight has a surprisingly high-end taste in fabrics. He’ll "accidentally" leave his expensive, oversized coat behind for you to wear, or bring you a high-quality silk blanket simply because it "looked like something you wouldn't hate."

Intense Observation: Midnight communicates through eye contact. He’ll watch you from across a room with a soft, focused gaze. When you catch him, he won’t look away; he’ll give a tiny, almost imperceptible smirk that lets you know you’re the only thing worth his attention.

Subtle Protection: Midnight doesn't like unnecessary conflict, but if someone breathes a word against you, he’ll use his magic to make their surroundings mildly "uncomfortable" (like twisting their seat or making their drink slip) without them ever knowing it was him. It’s his petty, silent way of looking out for you.

Guided Dreams: Given his association with sleep, Midnight will use a bit of magic to ensure you have peaceful, nightmare-free dreams, especially if he knows you've had a rough day.

Since Midnight is the next Fairy Tail character to have first kiss gif imagines to be posted, I just want to say something about how his animation style/design had changed so drastically.

Most of you who have seen Fairy Tail might agree with me in this and not like it as much as I do.

If you don't then that's fine.

I mean I get it, the budget for animating might've been significantly less than it was for the Oracion Seis arc, but like, how and why did Midnight/Macbeth go from this:

Everytime I watch the scene where Jellal grabs Macbeth this audio always went through my head so I decided to make this.

☪ You grew up there with him as a slave working for Zeref's work.

☪ You became each other's only friends and confidante.

☪ He was all you had.

☪ Next to his 'father' brain, you were all he had.

☪ After the tower of heaven, you joined the Oracion Seis with him.

☪ Even after Fairy Tail defeated the Seis, you became part of the Reformed Oracion Seis.

☪ Once Fairy Tail, again, defeat the Oracion Seis, the magic council comes to arrest you.

☪ He helps you flee your arrest.

☪ Even though he wanted to keep you with him, he didn't want you to rot in jail.

☪ He made you a Seis, and he would get you out of their messes too.

☪ During the time he was in jail Jellal found you.

☪ Jellal convinced you to join Crime Sorcier with him.

☪ Midnight was all you knew and cared about, but he was gone now so you said yes.

☪ Once the Seis escape from jail he finds you with Jellal.

☪ He was hurt and livid.

☪ Why would you want to be in a guild with the man who forced you both to be slaves in the tower of heaven?

☪ He probably would have killed Jellal then and there had you not been there.

☪ Instead he let's rogue kill Brain and he joins Crime Sorcier with you.

☪ He didn't trust Jellal, but he trusted you.

☪ Even though he knows your powerful he worries about you in battle.

☪ Taking naps together.

☪ Oh the cuddling session you had were glorious.

☪ Your the only one who uses his real name, Macbeth.

☪ He didn't like it when anyone else used it.

☪ He gets jealous of Jellal.

☪ You and Jellal had so much time together while he was locked up.

☪ You formed this friendship and bond.

☪ You reassuring him it's only friendship.

☪ Midnight likes skinship.

☪ Hand holding? Yeah.

☪ Hugging? Yeah.

☪ He likes it when you wear his big feather trimmed coat.

☪ Your the only one who he doesn't feel his powers are superior too.
