With Cabell being so down it took some convincing from Rosa and Co. to get him to start working on his display for the flower festival. Parked outside the church on Main, Cab flooded his old truck with flowers (with help from Marcel to keep him focused and see that he actually submitted his application for the judging). Out of the back he will be giving out small hand tied stems to folk on the condition that they pass it on and make someone else day.

Bojangles of course is there as well, in his flower crown.

after spending nearly two days out of commission, balthazar went to the library, determined to catch up on his work. he was exhausted, and he had a headache, and he still kind of wanted to scream, but he was filled to the brim with spite. there was nary a better motivator than spite. with the help of a large chai tea latte, he tore through his biochem problem set, finished up his embryology lab, and was just getting started on his american lit reflection when he saw rosalia come into view.
