#FTDI ceviche - perfect for a day like today! #anneslittlekitchen (at South Pasadena, California)
SW: 263.4 CW: 252.6 GW: 150 This is the last day I am weighing myself for a while though. My trainer last night told me I need to stop and just not look at it. I’m really bad about it- I will check it every single day, and trust me, that’s not good to do. It stresses you out, it makes you insecure. It’s just also an easy way to see progress.... when you’re not on your period or holding water weight or.... you get it. But I will say that I am officially out of plus size pants (still in plus size shirts). I went from a size 22 pant to a size 18. So I guess you can see progress in other ways, too. I didn’t even want to go to the gym last night, but it was my favorite trainer so go I did.
Today was the first time I've looked at a before and after picture of myself. AND I AM SHOOK. I've noticed all of my clothes fitting way looser, and I feel amazing, but I haven't been able to look in a mirror and see a difference until today. Left is my cousin's wedding this past September. Right is me today. I've worked my butt off for the past two months and I'm finally able to see the progress. Y'all, this process is AMAZING. I can't wait to see where this second challenge takes me! 34lbs down!
WEIGH IN DAYYYYYYYYY and this is the face of a happy girl! I'm down 18.5 mother effin' pounds in 3 mother flippin' weeks. WHAT. This feels amazing. People have finally started noticing, which is the ultimate ego boost. My clothes fit better. My energy level is up. My skin is clearing up. My challenge is over on April 10th, and I'm not worried about reaching the 20lbs goal by then. My next challenge starts April 17th. You best believe that I will be having a cheat meal of pizza during my off week. Honestly, the hardest part of this is the food. I miss dairy and bread desperately, but not enough to derail my progress. Lifestyle change, right? Oh, and my plank two weeks ago was 5 seconds. It was 20 seconds last week. Today, it was a whole 30 seconds. I know that seems small to most people, but it means so much that my body can now do these things. I've said it before, I'll say it again: healthy feels amazing.
Forgot to post weigh in on Monday! My goal was to lose 20lbs in 6 weeks. I lost 20lbs in 4 weeks! So, obviously, Bryan (who was down 17lbs in 4 weeks) and I celebrated at our favorite ramen house! This cheat meal helped sustain me for the rest of the week haha. Clean eating is hard when you first adopt it, but it's not impossible. The next weigh in is Monday, then we just have one more week with the program for this challenge. I'll be starting my second challenge on April 17th. My goal is to lose 50lbs before Bryan proposes, which he has assured me will be before the end of the school year. Can't wait to celebrate with more ramen when we finish this challenge!
