a lot of people are upset about volume two, & when you come from fandoms like the 100, or voltron like i do, it all makes sense why i wasn’t effected by anything.

like the 100 was such a good show, but then it wasn’t. killed the gays, queer baited, ruined the best characters for no reason, led the fans on about nothing. god that show really turned to shit and a big disappointment.

and don’t even get me started on voltron, i couldn’t even finish watching the last season.

so, compared to other shows i used to love, i guess it makes sense why i still throughly enjoyed all of season four.

I will NEVER stop being mad about Lance from Voltron. He had to deal with so much shit and was constantly told he was stupid by the rest of the team. He was suspicious of Lotor and everyone just assumed it was because he liked Allura (which is partway true BUT STILL) AND THEN Allura pretty much used him after Lotor betrayed her because she knew he liked her. And his happy ending is that he becomes a farmer???? Even though it was literally his DREAM to be a pilot??? Nah, fuck that shit. Lance didn't get the character arc that he deserved.

(Also Klance should have been canon obviously)

most bullshit thing vld ever pulled was bringing keiths mom back. as if that meant anything for actual recovery, as if all of keith’s family issues and issues with getting close to people could be fixed because she returned. as if he should forgive and accept the woman who abandoned him & forget it ever happened. and all of this over any actual development with team voltron, with the people who showed time and time again that they cared about him and wanted him around? vld said fuck found family, biology will always come back as the answer, and it was awful and shallow and useless. it looked pretty but did nothing at all

i will literally never forgive lauren hussein montgomery for retraumatizing shiro every single episode, besmirching hunk with fatphobia, quarantining keith from the team, whittling lance down to his hormones, kILLING ALLURA, THE BLACK FEMALE LEAD WHOSE entire race was murdERED BY GENOCIDE when they COULd have just saCRIFICed the lions,  AND THEN WRITING 238942984 SOLITARY EPISODES FOR THE ONLY WHITE PALADIN BECAUSE SHE WAS HER FAVORITE CHARACTER
